It's a beautiful campsite with a stunning river with lots of trees and space in the centre of the site, surrounded by big forested hills running along each side. Compared to some other campsites, here you really do feel like you are off the beaten track and away from any main roads, which is great as the nearest town is less than a 5 minute drive away.

The only downside is the sheep that are roaming around everywhere, so in every direction you step there is feces, and this really began to get on my nerves after 2 days. Fortunately I came well prepared and stayed clean, but it is easy for other campers to fall/slip on the ground and then trail it back into their tent so it isn't great for children. It is also rather expensive at £6-per-night, which I feel is steep considering they don't have any showers and the light in the men's toilet was broken, the water in the taps only ran for around 2 seconds before going off, and there is only one bridge to cross the stream which runs through the middle of the site, and there is no light outside the toilet, so if you are on the other side of the camp it can be extremely hard to find your way at night in the pitch-black for the first time.

I feel I am going on-and-on, but I simply feel that the cons out-weight the pros when it comes to Tanaeldroch Farm.

Not a bad campsite, plus point is you can have a fire and it's right by the river. To expensive for what it is,yes has toilets and a sink but for prize they charge should have showers. And as nice as it is to wake up hearing the sheep the place is not good when having young children who fall over cause of the sheep muck. Also if camping there make sure you bring a repellent against midgets they real bad there and my daughter was bitter all over :( was that bad we had to retire to bed early.

Decent campsite and rental cottage in rural North Wales, realistically need a car to get into the local area.

Lovely campsite basic and remote just how I like it. I was enjoying my stay until a horrible family arrived in a black VW van on friday night with a very aggressive pit bull that immediately. Began chasing the sheep the family insisted on throwing a ball toward my camp for the pit bull to retreave I had to dispose of the food I was preparing as I came out of my tent to find the pit bull licking it when I approached the pit bull it became very aggressive. Due to the arrival of this inconsiderate family I had to cut my stay short which I had up until their arrival been very much enjoying. I was at the site in the summer where the same family let the pit bull run in to my camp very annoying as there are signs saying Dogs Must be on Leads at all Times.. If you can avoid this horrid family I recommend this site lovely walks great views very remote and peaceful
