Right on the outskirts of Aberystwyth this is a great fishing spot. Either off the pier or the shingle beach reminiscent of Chesil beach only on a much smaller scale. I was there today and I had the entire beach to myself. For expert and very helpful advice and all sort of bits and pieces including bait see Aber Fishing Tackle in the town.

Car park, unpaved but sheltered from the worst of of wind

Free parking between the river and the beach. Spectacular view towards the city the ocean and the mountains above...there is a pathway along the river also for those who love hiking...
