Few ideas for winners' trophies on the TDi Media IKR UK Tour.... Pick your favourite please. Dragon Masters trophy will be on engraved slate base (37cm High).... clock for fastest laps..... Glass Trophy for TDi Media Tour.... TDi Media Gold Cup..... TDi Media Platinum Cup...... For IKR club events where we film the finals.

Anyone wanting to provide me with a photo of your driver against a chromakey background for using in graphics, the backgrounds (green or blue depending on the colours in your suit) are available on ebay from £7.50 (item number 252106600033 for green cloth) to around a whole £16 for the background and a stand to hold it up, although one person each side holding it behind the person being photographed is fine.
Few things to remember...
Try not to get any shadows on the backgrou...nd cloth.... keep it all evenly lit.... (outside on a dull day is ideal) so stand the subject slightly away from the background. Any hands holding the cloth behind can be cropped out....
Make sure the whole person is within an area of green or blue cloth.... don't have an arm outside the cloth or it will be cut off in the edit. You only need to take a photo from the waist up, not the whole length.
If you have a blue suit, use a green screen, if a green suit, use a blue screen....if a blue and green suit, wear a plain T Shirt, ideally something with your team name or sponsor name on the chest area. If you have something green or blue on the front of your suit against the same colour screen, then stand side on and look at the camera so that colour is not seen... otherwise... that part of you will be invisible.
If you have your own chromakey screen then when changing to a new team or suit, you just send me an updated image to use.

Been out looking at potential glass trophies for the TDi Media IKR UK Tour "Branded" Events.... and found some other alternatives as well......some real beauties....but have to double the budget....in some cases around £200 each inc. the base .... gulp!! just waiting for some circuits to confirm back to me about dates etc.
Which one would you prefer to win? Giant "Game of Drones" Drogon.... The Ornamental Red one on a sculpted timber and slate base, or the ornamental one whic...h would be on an engraved slate base to hang on a wall? Karting mums.... no need to vote.... we know you prefer the red one!...... Vote and Comments below. Would the giant one be better if it was half the size? The Ècosse champs at Larkhall will likely have the tree stump and slate base with a Scottish lion in glass. All handmade. Excited to announce our new "TDi Media IKR UK Special Events Tour" in 2019.
Selected IKR club events will have a TDI Media "Branded" title for that weekend (such as "Gold cup", "Diamond trophy", "Cumbria cup" etc.) & involves us in selected cases supplying bespoke, handmade, glass trophies on an engraved slate base for each winner.... Ornamental pieces you will not throw in the loft!
Lots of interest from clubs organising IKR events so far, with The TDI media Tour event at La...rkhall already in the planner for April 27/28 on the new Larkhall Kart Circuit (WSKC).... A great early opportunity for everyone to race on the new circuit layout, work for which started this week.
Some events will include hog roast/bbq or similar where numbers meet a minimum entry.
IKR clubs wishing to be included in the tour, where we create special one-off TDI MEDIA branded events within your existing club meetings, to encourage more entries and enhance the status of these meetings, please pm me for details. Events can be live streamed if preferred, subject to logistics and availability.

Will You Be The Championship Leader After Round 1.....?

Just seen that Summerlee Raceway at Larkhall Kart Circuit (WSKC) is closing today for the building works to start on the new track extension..... Brilliant news! Looking forward to seeing it when it's done. Interviewed the club chairman about this several years ago now, and great to see the extension is finally going ahead. Already seen the kart sim version and if it is anything like that it will be a fantastic new layout. Great circuit has always had loads of overtaking opportunities, and this will take it to the next level I'm sure.

I feel a Kart Show Live coming on.... Soon be time to chat about our plans for 2019..... any other topics you would like me to talk about?
