We had blazing sun, blue sea, peak Cheeseland and big, low tide Black-Rock jumps on Wednesday for the lads (and lady) of the Welsh Guards. Lovely day with a great bunch of people.

It's the bank holiday. The streets are busy, the beaches are packed, the queue for chips is a mobius strip. Here some coasteerers journey escape into Cheeseland.

Some lovely spider crabs lurking amongst the rocks and caves of Cheeseland recently... Soon these amazing creatures will gather in vast hoards to make their annual march out into deeper waters. No-one really knows what they're up to or where they go.

Thanks to the kind of beast-swell (20+feet on the sets!!!) we usually only get in the depths of winter, there'll be no coasteering on Saturday. Sunday is looking better at the mo with conditions rapidly returning to the August norm (showers and sun).
Just got to find something to do on Saturday now...
