We're celebrating our young volunteers this Volunteer's Week and highlighting our summer voluntary internships!
We work with lots of students who volunteer their time to help us support cancer patients and their loved ones across the country. It may be as part of their studies, a work experience placement or internship, part of their Duke of Edinburgh or simply just giving some time alongside their studies.
Young volunteers bring fresh ideas, enthusiasm and new skills to the... work that we do, helping with projects in our office, our support services, our research or out in our network of shops or by carrying out fundraising activities. And hopefully they gain lots from the experience too!

HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to our Pwllheli shop which celebrated its 30th birthday last week 🎉
Past and present volunteers joined in the celebrations and town mayor Cllr Eric Wyn Roberts did the honour of cutting the cake 🎂 here's to many more successful years!

HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to Paula who is now the proud owner of an original oil painting by our Patron Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen!
Paula popped into Head Office to collect the artwork today and she was over the moon to have won the piece that was created and featured on BBC's Celebrity Painting Challenge!

Employee volunteering days give your business and staff the opportunity to give something back as well as have a lot of fun in the process!
Wherever possible we try to combine these days with a visit to one of our services, or the opportunity to speak to one of our staff members about the services we run. This really helps people understand what all their hard work goes towards, and is a great way for us to say thank you for your support.
