Tesco Extra

Great, friendly staff but the stock and layout is not nearly as good as neighbouring Tesco Extra stores.

Not my regular Tesco so things in different places. All good. Usual Tesco products :-D

everything you need under one roof. we used the in house photo processing, it was quick and staff were on hand to help out when needed, great, can't ask for more.

Helpful staff. Very pleasant young lad at the till. Supermarket has a wide variety of food & drink as well as clothes, electrical & home items upstairs.

I love Tesco but my visit today was a little disappointing. Some of the containers of my Indian ready meal for 2 had leeked into the outer bag before I got it home. Whilst the remainder was very tasty and was enjoyed it made the experience very messy.

One of the friendly Bakers went out of their way to provide me with want I wanted. Always a good stock on the shelves making it easy to shop. Staff are all friendly, helpful and polite.

This is a 'just right' size Tesco, big enough to stock a good range but not too big that you're mentally exhausted after trying to navigate around the place (like Culverhouse Cross and Talbot Green). Some parts of the store are feeling a bit dated but the upstairs mezzanine is spacious and well laid out, although the decision to remove the Tech Team is one I struggle to comprehend as this puts more pressure on other staff from other areas.

Still, a lot of staff here are well established and also very frustrating and always willing to help. Store is always well stocked although the quality of the fruit and veg is nowhere near as good as Lidl across the road. Nevertheless I've never had issues shopping here as far as choice and customer service goes.

However, the car park is a nightmare. Whoever thought it was a good idea to put high growing edges right at the entrance/exit of the car parking zones needs a stern talking to. They completely obscure drivers visibility when approaching meaning cars have to creep out of the exits as you can't easily see cars approaching. They are right at the wrong eye level and in my opinion, should be just taken away completely as they serve no purpose whatsoever.

Aside from this grumble (and it's a pretty big one, enough to make me want to swear and curse lol), this is one of the better Tesco stores so I'll put up with the dodgy hedges but do hope they're pulled down entirely soon!

Carpark can be madness. Why on earth do they block the first carpark lane. Queues back to roundabout most weekends causing chaos. Petrol is also not as cheap as you think check first rather than assume just because it's tescos it's cheap. Other than this good sized store with all you can expect.. Plus Krispy Kreme..!

Good location. Better variety and stock levels than the Tesco Extra on the west side of Cardiff. Staff also appear happier and better motivated.
