i love this store its the most friendly store ive ever been in the staff are amazing always will to help no matter how many hours they have been on thier feet well done everyone xxxxx

Would just like to mention that when using the cafe area today the fire alarm went off. Two managers Ashley and Glyn, and not only calmly and quickly got everyone out but also carried an elderly gentleman (who really didn't want to leave) down the fire stairs. They really were awesome. Well done guys x

Just want to say a massive thank you to a member of staff called julie that was on customer service today (9/7/16) as our son bumped his nose quite badly, julie assisted us with 1st aid and couldnt have done anymore for us what a lovely member of staff tesco have.

I went here last night feeling really embarrassed because my once toned waist line had become a distant memory and I needed new trousers. I went upstairs and bumped into Joanne and her butty and fighting the tears asked them to direct me to fat aisle. They guided me by the hand over to what I thought was the tent section, but I was wrong she was showing me the trousers which I originally thought was a 4 birth tent. I choose two different sizes and swore the girls to secrecy which they said they'll take to their grave. I waddled over to the changing room and while avoiding looking in the mirror was delighted that the first pair I tried on actually fitted. I thought about shoplifting them because it's been a while since payday but being the size of Billy Smarts tent not even the crapest security guard in Merthyr would have missed that stuffed up my jumper. Anyway I think you should give Jo and her butty an employee of the week medal or something for being so fat friendly. I wouldn't even feel bad buying my shallow Hal boxers next time I call. plenty of tills to help customers finalise their transactions....



plenty of light and aisles free of obstructions eg. cages making it easier for wheelchair users access the areas.

Went for breakfast yesterday morning paid at 08.39 tea came about ten minutes later the cook breakfast well after 9 :-( its was warn but not hot.The young lad at the till was taking orders the money and taking out the food and drinks.He was doing all he could defo need more staff can't expect one person to do the jog of 3 .

Something really needs to be done about the carpark ..... there are many spaces full of snow and ice stopping people parking in there. It’s constantly busy and have been unable to get a space on 3 occasions today and yesterday .... someone please clear the spaces ��

Only thing that let me dwn was my cheese beans jacket pot I only eat half of it other half was rotten very disappointed

The staff on the tills not very helpfull. And no the shop wasn’t busy �

If you are reading this please do something about the Boy racers in your car park on a Saturday evening. I almost slipped on a flattened drink can when I got out of my car. There were empty bottles of beer just on the floor. Not good at all �

All day breakfast £5.99 for that kind of money you would expect toast fried bread mushrooms black pudding bread and butter and a free cuppa, instead of 2 eggs 2 sausage 2 bacon baked beans chips half of fresh tomatoe, hardly describe that as a all day breakfast, very disappointing.

Tesco finest hand rolled Belgian chocolate yule log enjoying until I found a bolt out of your machine inside it disgusting !!!

Tesco Mobile Merthyr Tydfil here we go again today. Apparently it's a store policy not to accept a non-UK passport as a proof of identity. It doesn't matter if you are Polish, Spanish or French without UK passport, you're not able to buy the phone on contract in store. You can buy it on line but not face to face!!! For the last three days I tried to resolve this issue. I talked to store manager today who was very helpful and hopefully something will be done with the way customers are treated in Tesco Mobile Merthyr branch.

Tesco Merthyr should be renamed TES as it,s half empty, and they don,t stock essentials anymore, Strong Tea bags for example and many, many more . Aldi s I.m acoming . what a poor service , yet we go to Aberystwyth ( last week ) and the store is full of everything, brilliant Come on Merthyr get you act together , or suffer the consequences.............

Really annoyed and disappointed in Tesco Merthyr Tydfil service this evening. Worked late and needed a big shop because I won’t have time the rest of the week. I had a full trolley it’s the end of a long day. I get to the checkouts and they only have self service open. I ask could I use a regular till as there were several staff milling around the checkout area. No, apparently it’s only self service after a certain time. It wasn’t particularly quiet, every self service till was in use. I then had to put a full shop through a self service till. There wasn’t enough room to sort my shopping so I could pack similar things together. Then had to balance the whole shop in the bagging area and have assistance at least 5 times. Could have cried I was so angry. I should have just left the full trolley and gone home.

In my experience rude staff with poor personal hygiene. Toilets also filthy with no working hand dryers. Boy racers in the car park too. Shame because the store itself has potential to be a good Tesco!

I was at your store today (9th January) to grab some lunch. I parked my car at around 13.30 and headed in store. When I came back to my car it had been scraped all the way down one side and had been dented so had obviously been hit at some force, I was obviously not impressed! Then I headed in store to see if anyone could help me, I was simply told that it was not their problem and they would not help! The damage to my car (which happened on your premises) was made worse by the customer service I received from your staff. I feel let down by the lack of assistance I received and will not be using your store again!

I recently found many mouldy red onions in the "fresh" produce section. Tesco Merthyr have previously left loose peppers unchecked for so long that they were rotting in a pool of liquid and Free From pita bread contained clearly visible mould.

Called in for breakfast this morning. Very nice new restaurant. Ordered my breakfast and tea at 9.51am. Tea arrived about 10am while my breakfast came at 10.15am. It was cold so asked for it to be heated. Another 5 mins and it came back. This time it was a little warm but i was so fed up of waiting i ate it. Please dont change the other restaurants unless you can improve the quality of the eating experience.
