I am a qualified Level 2 rugby coach, offering one to one and group coaching for children through to adults. Bridgend based, South Wales.

Let me tell you a little about myself. . . . .

I believe the key to success and development of children is positive opportunity regardless of their ability. I recognise and identify each child’s needs and develop them by giving them confidence and belief along with the right coaching skills. By doing this each child has the opportunity to reach their potential and has a great positive experience.
Each individual is different and develops differently and at different times. I feel I have the ability / knowledge / enthusiasm to implement programmes that are personal and individual to the individual needs. Working closely with parents and the community is essential and creates links that benefit all.

I myself have rugby in my blood. I feel both excited and privileged to have the opportunity to pass on my knowledge and experiences to children and adults alike.
I came to Wales from my homeland of Fiji 25 years ago, after spending 3 years in New Zealand, playing Provincial level rugby. It was there where I had my first experience working with young people. I worked closely with the youngsters from the Coastal Rugby Club (formally Opunake Rugby Club ) within the Taranaki Rugby Union, New Plymouth.
I then choose to come to Wales where I played top level rugby for many years. The opportunity to coach or work in development areas has not arisen until now, which makes this opportunity a really exciting time for me. I am proud to be part of Welsh rugby and grass roots rugby is where it starts.
