Will not be a one visit wonder.
Took my parents for a birthday lunch, we shared the 'social' and some extra nibbles. It was delicious, the gyoza won for me! The manager brought over a glass of prosecco for my birthday too which was a lovely touch. Enjoyed a lunchtime 'smokey number 2' as well! �

This place is amazing for anyone going to Cardiff! The staff and bouncers were helpful and friendly to me. They were very accommodating for myself as a wheelchair user. Also the food and drinks were delicious �. Our server Benjamin was a star!
Such a nice way to end the week with some food and cocktails, my expectations were exceeded even when the waitress had explained food wouldn't be long the manager also made the effort to come over and sat beside us to have a quick chat see how everything was and offer us more drinks she then apologised for the slight delay and then took money off our bill as a gesture of good will even though we didn't notice the delay the waitress had then come over shortly after to advise that she was going on break and greeted us with the waiter taking over... Food was to a very high standard and drinks were absolutely fantastic will definitely be back
Really great night, and lovely food. We booked for my husbands birthday treat, and were given a glass of prosecco each, plus a cocktail for him on the house.The staff were very attentive and made it an all round brilliant experience. The Solero is amazing if you like the lollies 😍

My husband and I visited for lunch a couple of days after opening and were made to feel very welcome with our 10week old. Cocktails are incredible, food is delicious; highly recommend the beef pho and jerk chicken and the white chocolate rum mousse 😋 I really hope the standard stays this high as we couldn’t fault our visit at all.
Literally one of the best meals I've ever eaten, service was fast and food and drinks were spot on. Would recommend to anyone who wants a different night out in Cardiff

Saturday: Brunch with the family - lovely food and very friendly staff. A few teething problems but that’s as to be expected overall we thoroughly enjoyed everything about our visit.
Sunday: Dinner & drinks with the girls - fab staff who did a great job of recommending cocktails, beautiful food, could fault nothing, we will definitely be back very soon xx
I popped in after work. Lovely place, staff are nice. I tried the butter beer and it was so nice like the real thing. The bartender who served me who was Eleanor served quickly and efficiently. Overall defiently worth coming back for a longer visit
I know it’s not the cheapest cocktail bar but wow, lovely high quality tasting cocktails and worth the expense. All staff members were well mannered and obviously talented.
I have waited for so long for this place to open and it hasn't disappointed! We went this evening for dinner and drinks, the decor is great and both the cocktails and food were stunning. The staff were really attentive, although some were quite obviously inexperienced and learning the ropes but this is to be expected in the first few weeks and is not a criticism.
This place is a great addition to Cardiff and we will definitely be back as we loved it!
First visit on the opening night in Cardiff. The cocktails are delicious; beautifully presented and well balanced. The food was... A little average. Would 100% come back for drinks and the aesthetically DELIGHTFUL design. A special thank you to (who I think was) the supervisor who was assisting Joseph - you made the visit a treat to carry with us for a long time. Well done!
After visiting a lot of Alchemists and being a huge fan, I was willing one to come to Cardiff, finally it’s happened! It did not disappoint, lush food, amazing cocktails, Jasper we can’t believe you have only been doing cocktails a few weeks you were fab!! Good luck with it all ���
Absolutely amazing food, amazing cocktails and good service. Lady who I assumed was the manager went out of her way to make sure I was happy with my cocktail, which was delicious. Male waiter was very attentive and helpful despite us not being his table. Both contributed to us having a great evening. 2 waitresses were ok but lacked a little knowledge on the menu and speed serving us at times, but having only been opened a few days I’m sure this will only improve. Already planning our next visit!!
A wonderful time was had by all. The food was fantastic, great surroundings, and the staff were excellent, and friendly. I would highly recommend this place.
Gorgeous place. Beautifully decorated and themed. Huge selection of cocktails. Menu is extensive and varied and reasonably priced. Service was friendly. The dry ice and exotic drinks added to the mystic ambience. Will definitely be visiting again.
First impressions - a really beautiful building inside and out. Visited here on Friday, it was very busy with good vibes but slightly disappointed they had run out of drinks including White Cosmo so early in the evening. A bit of a disappointment but there was still plenty of choice on the menu, took a while to get served but we enjoyed the theatrics with the cocktails, which tasted good. Great addition to Cardiff will visit again.
Drinks and food are nice but trying to get a table is terrible! It took 3 phone calls and when I arrived the table was not ready and still not for the amount of people I booked for luckily 2 people were unable to attend. I had no apology from the booking staff who also then made a further comment about paying a deposit in advance next time and made my friends and I feel like they were doing us a favour for sorting a table. It put me in an awful mood and I wanted to leave but due to not having anything else planned we stayed. The serving staff were lovely and Clare our waitress gave me a free prosecco for my birthday which I was grateful for and made me feel like I was welcome. Due to my experience with the booking team though I will not be returning.
A bit too much style over substance, although a very nice decor. We ordered 4 cocktails and the barman was clearly still learning the ropes. It took him so long to make them, and he sloshed most of the alcohol over the bar. My friends drink, the Flavour Changer, was served in a tiny champagne flute and was literally a few sips and gone. Mine, the Colour Changer, was extremely sickly and I could not derect any alcohol. Perhaps we just chose the wrong drinks.
