Great local brew ( the brewery is only a mile away), served with quality pub food, the steak pie was great. Friendly service delivered with Welsh pride. A good place to meet fellow travelers from around the world.

Ate here last night (27th Sept 2017) and had a wonderful experience. The place had a buzz about it, it was busy but the staff were really not over worked. The meals were fabulous.. and very big portioned. I had the smoky burger and my husband had the ribs. The purple moose brewery beer was lovely.

Seemed like a nice casual friendly place. I just dropped in for a random pint and to escape the shoppers, and felt welcome and relaxed. I would imagine it's good for a night out. Great selection of beers too.

Great pub but here at 12 when it opened at lunchtime, in the 45 minutes I was there I counted at least 20 groups come in and ask if they were serving food, all received the same answer "sorry it's the chefs day off" all but two turned on their heels and went elsewhere. Obviously they don't need the business.

Loved the place. Food was good also. Only few choices, but nice. A bit slow service, unhappy looking staff. Great design!

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Beers unfortunately are very 'flat' and food no more than decent. Lots of fat on the ribs
