We stayed over on a Saturday night. From the moment we arrived every member of staff we came in contact was very welcoming and helpful. The choices on the restaurant menu seemed to be endless and our chosen meals were excellent. Our room was very clean, tidy and comfortable and had obviously benefitted from a fairly recent makeover. Thank you, we really had s great time.

User

We have just returned from a few days staying at the Beaufort, Raglan. It was exactly what was needed. We have been able to relax and enjoy everything on offer from the accommodation to the restaurant. The Beaufort is in a great location allowing us to explore the surrounding area. A massive thank you to all the staff at the Beaufort for making our stay everything we wanted.

User

This is our second time at the Beaufort B&B and mostly enjoyed our stay with tremendous thanks to Miguel and his team, excellent food, drinks and atmosphere, we all very much enjoyed and will be back. It's very ideal for couples and group getaways for 1 2 or many nights out. Thanks again from Sharon, Lee, Marcus, Laura, Paul, Sandra, Mike & Andrea.

The biggest starter of goats cheese, the most tender shoulder of lamb main and the gooiest, stickiest whopping portion of pavlova, all washed down with a cold crisp pinot. Big old place where old meets new with various nooks 'n' crannys and a friendly warm welcome and a roaring fire. Loved it!

User

Stopped for a bite to eat on the way to Raglan Castle and ended up having a lovely long leisurely three course lunch. The 2 course lunch specials were good value but we chose from the a la carte menu. I had gambas a la pil pil, my friend had jamon iberico. Both were very good. For mains I opted for giant crevettes, which were fresh, juicy and delicious and my friend had cod fillet in tempura batter which was tender and flaky. After all that there was just enough room for dessert and I was pleased to see some GF options. I had the blackcurrant cheesecake, so tart and creamy, yum! My friend had lemon roulade which I tried and was super lemony and light. A lovely find, this place, with friendly and attentive waiting staff and pleasant old pub charm. Highly recommended!

User

So many things are wonderful about this place, just make a booking you won't be disappointed

User

Miguel and his team never fail to impress. Always a warm welcome, great food, charming atmosphere and professional, competent staff. Definitely a recipe for a great time. Will always highly recommend for lunches, evening meal, overnight stay or just a cozy drink!

User

Just had an absolutely stunning Sunday lunch with the family. Beef just literally melted in my mouth! Lamb was just as nice too! Well worth the money. Looking forward to planning an evening meal and staying the night there too. Thank you x

User

Just called in for a coffee very welcoming and the best lemon cake I have tasted x

User

I need to come back and try all the different fish! The meal was one of the best I’ve had in a long time. Service was quick and food came out fast couldn’t fault it

User

Great pub, restaurant and hotel. Stayed there a couple of times, ideally located in South Wales close to Brecon Beacons. Highly recommend

User

Great atmospheric eatery/hotel in beautiful location. I had the boquerones starter and the venison which was totally on point. Superb. Washed down with some Veuve. Had a sneaky taste of my friends Raviolli which was awesome too. Not a big pasta fan normally. Will be back with more friends soon. Thank you!

User

Good value for money and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was excellent, didn't done there but if the breakfast was anything to go by am sure it'll be spot on.

User

Fab meal tonight choosing from the Thursday 2 course fish night menu. Amazing value for money at only £15pp. Excellent attentive service and very good quality tasty food. Will definately be returning

User

Called in on way home and was a lovely suprise, 2 course menu was superb and the european waiter really looked after the 2 kids with meals that were not on the kids menu.

User

User

Absolutely fantastic Sunday lunch , staff very accommodating lovely and clean place can’t fault it , will be back .

User

Several overnight stays here. Miguel continues to improve the environment; something new every few months. Great meal last night. Fwiw, it was Tuesday and I had to wait for a table. That tells you all you need to know about the quality and value of the menu. Room prices are good too. Pleasant setting and easy to access a lot of South Wales.

User

Went for lunch today, was bank holiday Monday and we didn't book but they found us a table which i was grateful for. However my brother in law steaks was cold, my sister in law had to wait about 15 minutes for her peppercorn sauce by the time it came her whole food was cold ( peppercorns sauce was thin like oxo gravy) they forgot one meal which was steak ( when turned up they had to eat alone) they rushed it and when it came it was frozrn solid in the middle and the childs chicken nuggets was pinky and blood. When i complained they said the chef wasn't used to cooking for alot of people? Really a restaurant. Anyway they deducted a meal off ( the one which was frozen and wasn't cooked to eat anyway) . This wasn't good enough so they took the soft drinks off and garllic bread. Im very disappointed with the service and food we received today because this is not a cheap place to eat. Will NOT be returning to this place again.
