BUILT PRE 1830 AND USED AS A PUB & SIGNAL HOUSE. HORSES WERE SIGNALED BY A BELL TO PULL GOODS TO THE TOP OF SOW HILL (FROM THE TOWN) IT THUS RECEIVED THE NAME 'ONE BELL'. AT THE TURN OF THE CENTURY IT WAS USED AS A INN FOR PASSING COACHES AND TRAVELLERS AND BECAME KNOWN AS 'THE BELL INN' AS IT IS TODAY.

One of the best venues in Pontypool for music, nightlife and low prices. Free jukebox. Pool table 20p a game. (Cheaper than Whetherspoons) believe it. Licenced till 2am.

WED:
Super League Men & Ladies Darts. Anyone interested in joining our teams please feel free to come along, have a chat and meet the teams.

THUR:
Ladies Darts - A fun league. Good night out for the girls as well as playing darts. We can squeeze people in if you fancy a throw. Come along the new darts season starts Sept.

FRI:
Mens Darts - Good friendly bunch, everyone welcome. DJ /Disco. Licenced till 2am.

SAT:
Live Bands / Music Every Saturday. Become a friend and receive updates each week.

SUN:
Chill out in our beer garden, taking in our breath taking views from the patio of Pontypool. Finish the night off with a sing song and boogie.

There is not alot we havent got or carn't get. . . . Grub served at most matches if you fancy a nibble.
