Lovely location and great food. Sunday lunch is amazing and good value. Service has been a bit slow at times.

Amazing place to stay.. John and his staff go above and beyond to accommodate your needs..... Clean, comfortable rooms and lovely freshly cooked meals with vegetarian dishes to. A***** highly recommended

We stopped there for lunch after going for a spontaneous drive through the hills. Very impressed with the quality of the food and very reasonable cost wise. Definitely going there again!

An excellent welcome!
We were a little weary about entering as it looks a lovely well cared for establishment and we were grubby and dirty from trail riding. Well, they soon made us feel at home. Sitting by the fire, we had an excellent meal and will be coming back soon, for an overnight stay
Their accommodation looks lovely too!

Visited the Black Lion twice in recent weeks; it's location is lovely with food and a pleasant atmosphere to match.

Phil Collins on a loop did make me want to hack my ears off with items of the clean cutlery, though.

This has to be one of the best in Wales ...food is fantastic so is the service and the rooms are great ...I would recommend to anyone.
