The Bookhouse Description
The Bookhouse is set on 2 storeys. Downstairs is a large, cosy living room with an open fire, plenty of books and DVDs as well as a large conservatory. Upstairs is the bathroom and 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with a king-size futon. There's also a quirky kitchenette as well as further kitchen equipment in the conservatory. Access to the extensive gardens, overlooking the Black Mountains and Mynydd Llangorse, is included. . . have your breakfast under the maple tree! The lane which runs past The Bookhouse takes you up into the foothills of Pen y Fan. The village of Llanfrynach has a great pub, The Swan, just a 5 minute walk away. Talybont on Usk, with 4 further fine pubs, is 3 miles away (walk along the canal if you fancy it) and Brecon is also 3 miles in the opposite direction.
