Very good friendly service. Casual dining, well priced. Most mains under £10. Steaks a bit more. Large selection of burgers. Would recommend.

Unfortunately, my favourite pudding, black forest gateaux which you don't see on menus often anymore, was a bit dried out. It had been cut into individual servings and kept in a fridge uncovered. Although I must say, the bottom layer, served with single cream was delicious! I couldn't resist tasting.
Defo worth a visit

Had been told this was a great Sunday Carvery. Couldn't have been more disappointed. The service was so slow. Took ages to be given our drinks. The food was average. Waited a long time for the table to be cleared and for them to tell us the dessert menu. Our deserts finally arrived. Ten minutes later they came to tell us that the table was booked for another group at 3pm. If the service hadn't been so slow and useless we would have been gone long before. I won't be going back. Staff attitude was awful.

A special day out spoiled.....We have been here twice, both visits on a Wednesday, some months apart, and the food was let down on both occasions.. Plates were stone cold....food was to say the least lukewarm., gravy was warm for a few minutes. ?...enough to taste the dried up roast potatoes and cardboard yorkshire puddings, carrots...rubbery. at £20..00, odd a total waste of money......oh the icecream was fine but then it would be....its meant to be cold. (Told staff about it)...."oh sorry about that" and walked off. Will we be back........no chance.,
