Lovely Sunday lunch, with a choice of four meats, chicken, pork, beef and lamb. The meats were so tender and very nice, accompanied by large portions of potatoes and veg. **Food coma alert**.

I would suggest booking in advance rather than just turning up, as it can be very busy.

Great food and decent portions, very pleased we stopped here. There was a good vegetarian menu with a good choice and variety of mains, good wines and beer too. I'd recommend.

Been here before and it was very nice, this time they forgot to give us our veg and the beef was extremely tough. They did take a meal off the bill to compensate but we would have rather we had their usual high standards. It hasn't put us off returning for Sunday lunch,, but would if we experienced another one like that.

Nice chilled atmosphere, great menu with loads of selection, good prices on food and alcohol plus the staff are all friendly. Can't knock this place at all!

Had a lovely afternoon tea. Everything was delicious and staff were very friendly and helpful. Great value for money.

The harassed wait staff took forever to take our order. The order didn't show up for 45 minutes. Waiting another 20 on the advice that it had just been plated and it never arrived. Gutted. This place had been amazing previously.

Had lunch today. Lovely food. Excellent service. Friendly well presented staff. Must say the desert was amazing and presented lovely.

What a meal im in love with stake again give it ago good food at good price for what you get cant complain hats of to the chef

Food was nice. The inside felt a bit cramped and the tables were quite on top of each other. Also very loud people in there, couldn't have a decent conversation with my partner.

After visiting this place quite regularly in January we decided that we really liked this place, the food was nice and it had a nice atmosphere.
We returned here a few days ago but we were very disappointed.
When we arrived we were greeted buy a lady who seated us and explained that she would be over in about ten minutes to take our order as she was just dealing with a large party.
We thought that was fair enough and took our seats.
After about twenty minutes someone came and took our order, apart from the the party of ten there was only us and a group of four people in the room.
Our drinks were brought over quite promptly, but after this we didn't hear from any of the members of staff for a considerably long time.
We then decided to leave. As I payed for the drinks a lady came over and explained that our food was just being plated up.
I went to get my partner who had already walked out to the car. As I started to explain to her that our food was just being plated up she pointed out that it had been over an hour and a half since our order was taken and she was not going back in.

Food absolutely fantastic. The menu is wide and the staff are helpful, friendly and a happy bunch. Could not recommend this place enough
Please do not eat a long time before you go as the portions are massive AND because the foods so good, couldn't stop eating. Most definitely going back and taking a group of us. Just need to tell them it's a 4.5hr journey from home.
