Had food here quite a few times but today was terrible. Hardly any staff working waited a while for our food. The onion rings had no flavour neither did the peppercorn sauce. And then had to wait 15min for dessert don't think i will go there again.

Just what we needed after a day on the road. Ordered and served in half an hour, food good and wholesome maybe not hot enough for some but great none the less. Waitress lovely and chatty and very helpful.

Girl working behind the bar was amazingly helpful under the amazing ineptitude of whoever managed the restaurant, how do you manage to run out of potato, chicken, fish and many other parts of your menu at 7pm on a Sunday. Our meal was edible, but the chips( probably the easiest thing on the planet to cook) were partially cooked and hard in the middle, they looked pale and not at all appetizing
Pub quizine does not have to be boring and bland, be proud of what you cook eating out is supposed to be a treat please make it just that. Thanks.

An awful experience. Had to wait an hour for someone to take our order. Toilets absolutely stunk. When food arrived we had mushrooms salad and mushroom burger.we ordered garlic which turned up even later 3 pieces burnt to acinder on one side but the good presenter. Returned the garlic as too burnt. No apology. Meal the mushrooms were 1/2 cooked and the bread stale. Chips were nice but that could have been due to me plastering them in vinegar.as we were waiting to pay the bill our garlic bread turned and waitress sarcastically stated you won't want this now. Fantastic🤐

Unfortunately the dishes didn't match the menu descriptions. The cheese nachos were inedible as they were so hot, yet no mention of chilli's on the menu. Bread in the burgers was poor, letting down some half decent burger. On the plus, staff friendly and food came out quickly. Some good value available with 2 for 1. Would I come again? Not unless I had no other choice

Real bad experience, not many people there yet i had to ask for her to take order, to clear the table for sauce, pudding menu and when i did she rolled her eyes at us we where poilte to her so there was no need for it... just real poor manners... food was ok bit wont be goi g there again because everything takes so bloody long....

Menu and decor with the look and feel of any Marston's pub. Staff were very friendly and helpful, but otherwise a sub-par experience.

On arrival told there was no steaks, burgers or gammon available, also no cola or lemonade on tap due to lack of gas. Table needed a wipe, and was sticky. When brought out, the kids' dinners had been left under the heat lamp too long and had dried-out, looking very unappetising. Adult food lacked any kind of presentation, just thrown onto plates, salad was wilting. After dinner coffee was stone cold.

Perhaps this was an unrepresentative experience, but I don't know if I'd want to chance it again...

Lovely food yesterday. The pulled pork hash was gorgeous. Had such a lovely waitress, didn't catch her named but she was from London and have to say, was a pleasure to be around, really polite, chatty and nothing was too much trouble for her. Plus her perfume was lush! Credit to the place. Lovely atmosphere and really enjoyed our food.
