Where do I start............

Rooms very clean, well decorated, nice "en- suite", fantastic shower !!!

Breakfast-wow!!!

Plenty of tea/coffee/hot chocolate,fruits juices, several different cereals, toast, selection of jams, yoghurt, hot freshly cooked full English breakfast (with bacon nice and thick)

Dining area of the pub very tastefully decorated and plenty of room.

Bar area, well set out with a pool table, darts and TV.

Bar staff, (owners), can't fault them in any way, very friendly and professional.

Would highly recommend this as a place to stay if down this way. 5* B+B.

Went for Sunday lunch with my husband and 3 children. It was hands down the best roast dinner I’ve ever had! Meat was so tender and tasty, generous portions. Can’t wait to go back and take the rest of the family!

We'd just arrived in the village and were really hungry. They seated us straight away, and our order was taken really quickly. The meals were reasonably priced, delicious and huge and the wait staff were really lovely. The only grumble was the gap in delivery of a couple of the meals, meaning most of us were half way through our food before the others came.

After dinner the boys had a game of pool and we had a lovely evening!

We went to the Carpenters Arms for our evening meal last night on the last evening of our holiday. The staff and locals were all very friendly. Our dog was allowed in. The food was excellent and they had a good choice of vegetarian options too. Hope to go back if we are in the area again.

Thank you Alison and Lee for a wonderful Christmas lunch. We had a lovely warm Christmassy welcome for your second sitting at 2.30 and everything was perfect. My wife and I had Sunday lunch a couple of days ago. Easily the best outside of home. The beef and all the veg were beautifully cooked. The sweet was heavenly. My only disappointment was that I missed a chance to thank the lady on the carvery for her generosity. Will definitely call again and again.

Had a meal here this evening with the hubby. Food was absolutely gorgeous � I had the carpenters burger stack which in all honesty it was the best burger I’d ever tasted hubby had fish and chips which even he said was 1 of the best he had tasted. The staff are so friendly and polite nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be calling again soon � thanks guys �

Great Sunday Roast dinner served by friendly staff in very clean and comfortable surroundings. On top of this you also get a tremendous welcome from the "Boss" Alison and her able assistant Lee. All in all a great meal washed down by a very good pint. What more could you ask for on a Sunday afternoon.

Excellent pub and B+B. Rooms spotless and very comfy beds with great showers. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice . Staff were excellent and extremely helpful. Would definitely return and highly recommend, cracking place �

Don't normally post comments on places we visit but this place was top notch, the staff where out standing and the food exquisite. me and my wife both very enjoyed.

One of the biggest mixed grills I've had and cooked to perfection, the hunters chicken twist was fab to,

Been here twice in the last week, both occasions to celebrate my hubby's birthday with family and friends. The food was amazing ( I had rump steak on both occassions) with lovely big portions and staff were so friendly and down to earth and couldn't do enough for you. Will definitely be eating here again in the future. Thank you to everyone.

Beautiful pub set a mere 10 minute walk from the town square. Rooms are clean and ensuite, with tea/coffee making facilities. The dining area and pub are separate to minimise the disruption to lodgers and are first class, beer is great and the food is delicious. Dog friendly in the bar and we were made to feel really welcome. Think this will be our base for future trips Laugharne

6 of us ate here sat night and we also had sunday lunch as we were staying in the area for the weekend.absolutely beautiful food,you have to try the grass hopper cake so delicious.we definitely return when in the area.

Was disappointed with meal tonight. Staff are absolutely lovely. Both my husband & I had the Steak & Ale Pie. Came with gorgeous home cooked chips but tin peas & soggy carrots! Worse thing was that the pies had been heated in the microwave, an absolute no no for me - very soggy pastry. Won't be back.
