Whetherspoons-a-like with slightly more upmarket emphasis on students. Tasty food, came quickly.

Quick and courteous service. Sadly the mash and gravy were very dry / thick, as if they didn't have enough water in

Walked in to a quiet pub with tables littered with plates and glasses.
Sitting for twenty minutes and no one cleaned our table.
Ordered food and still no one cleaned our table yet the pub was still quiet.
A lady came over to our table and slammed condiments down (even though some already there)
The food arrived to our dirty table I was too hungry at this point to complain
Food was ok but there was no salt my partner asked for salt and we were told that she’d go get her bucket.
She surly arrived with a bucket of salt?!?!? Asked if we wanted the salt cellar filling we said well I suppose so......and she walked off...again?!?!?
All in all - dirty tables, disorganised staff

We visited on a Thursday afternoon for lunch. There were only a few people in there but staff were on hand to quickly see to us- for a bar it was very clean. Quick service, the food we ordered was tasty - we were happy with our visit

Pleasant ambience. Extensive menu of reasonably priced food. Comfortable seating and situated next to the Cathedral in the city centre. Am a regular patron.

Solid pub, a lot like a wetherspoons. Generous meals and terrific beer.

Solid pub in the weatherspoons mould. Good beer decent cheap food. A pint of brains for less than £2!! Super cheerful staff.

Only had a drink polite staff and good value

Good food and friendly staff but a little slow with the food service of checking to see that you've finished with your starters and ready for mains.
