The Castle Inn

Went with a large group, some off our meals were appalling, some starters just as bad. few sent back and replacements were even worse. Some meals were brought out but had to wait for the sauces that came with it allowing the meals getting cold. Not worth the money they were asking. Won't be going again or recommend it to anyone.

1st and the last time at the castle inn.Frozen chips even though menu said homemade.Served lamb cutlets instead of lamb rack of ribs...This could of fed a mouse!!!
Garlic bread was just slices of brown bread with garlic butter on....
I don't mind paying for good food but this was far from good.
I could of had better at my local 2 for 1 for a fraction of the price.
Safe to say we didn't stay for desert...
Best part was the pint of lemonade...
Never again.

Had a fab family meal there. The service was outstanding. The hosts have also arranged a baby shower for my daughter which was excellent value for money.

Warm, cushy fireplace. Cracking food. Lovely people. I need not say more.
