The Clarence Inn
Reviews
It was our third stay here at this lovely hotel pub. It is situated just 5 mins walk to the centre of town you get a great welcome and a good selection of real ales ciders and lagers. A great menu and reasonably priced .we stayed for 1 night which cost £70 and included a great breakfast. The room was very clean and warm overlooking the very large beer garden. There was also a hairdryer and a kettle with a selection of tea coffee etc. Can't wait to go back and sit in front of the log burner in the bar
Friendly staff and family and dog friendly. Would recommend a visit.
Lovely pub, excellent real ale, nice beer garden.
Impress her in doors and treat her to Sunday Lunch. You will not be disappointed!
Not great. But not totally tragic either.
The menu here is typical naff-pub-grub type fare. It's not gourmet dining, but it will fill you up after a hard days cycling/walking or whatever.
Not the friendliest of places - one member of staff in particular needs to work on the welcome, rather than just exuding a air of "well you're here now so I might as well serve you"...
Also - the food took a long time to come. There were only 4 other tables dining, so not exactly heaving.
Maybe we just caught them on a bad day?
Always good food here. The Black Rock Grill is a must try Child friendly place but their meals are a tad expensive for what you get.
Fantastic local family run pub. Excellent friendly service and outstanding food.
Highly recommend the Clarence
One of the best places to eat in Brecon. Lovely for drinks too. Kid friendly.
