ordered 3 comics online arrived within 9 days only downside was could have gave them more protection

I have been in this shop multiple times during my visits to cardiff and every time i leave appauled at the management and prices. The owner is trying to flog a 10th doctor tardis play set for £69.99 , it is no where near that price mark , you can pick a boxed one up on ebay for about £40. He deserves to have trading standards knocking his door, he is also a total smart arse and is rather rude to customers, if your in cardiff AVOID THIS SHOP, go to forbidden planet, its cheaper and everything is brand new and if its not in there go on ebay.

The pinned post on Facebook says to contact them via phone but I tried this every hour for 6 days straight and got no answer.
This led me to post on the wall of the page. Now because of the pinned post I think he believes this means he doesn't have to respond to any posts or messages.
To say that the page is 'unmonitored' is a JOKE! Anybody that has there own business page will know that he will get notified on his business page as well as his own personal page so there really isn't anyway this can be 'unmonitored' I think he does this to avoid all the complaints an queries he would have to deal with!
Since my post on the page I have waited 5 days for a reply. I know for a fact he's been on Facebook since then because he posted on his own private page minutes a go. This would make me believe that he is just choosing to ignore my query.
Another point I would like to make is that for a page that's 'unmonitored' he seems to reply to bad feedback pretty quickly! and on those comments he seems to elude to some kind of conspiracy towards him! and his replies to paying customers are quiet rude considering people have paid him for a service he isn't providing.
If anybody thinks maybe there is a conspiracy towards him or that maybe it's just a handful of complaining people please take a moment to google the shop for reviews or use the searchbar Facebook provides. He seems quite notorious on the comic book Facebook groups as a bad seller who is untrustworthy. And if you're not in any of these groups and would like to see the reviews/comments please contact me and i'd be more than happy to send you screenshots.

Ok so why this bad review? Well my partner ordered some books from this person over 6 weeks a go. No books have ever shown up and no communication has been forthcoming despite all our attempts.

After seeing all the other complaints and warning about this shop I now have no other option but to ask my bank to investigate my issue as I believe there is some kind of fraud going on. Hopefully this way I will get some money back.
I will also be speaking to trading standards and urge anybody else that's had the same problems as me to do the same. The more people that complain the more chance we have of something finally happening.

I would never recommend the 'shop' to anyone and will be doing my upmost to make sure more people see through this 'best online comic shop' joke.

Disabled access you can get in the door and look at the mugs allies full of boxes and very cramped for able bodied wheelchair users just don't bother, also tried to sell us free comic book day comic that had on the front FREE COMIC BOOK DAY COMIC NOT FOR RESALE hmmmmmmmm worst comic shop. I ever been in every item priced up for stupid money just got to forbidden planet there cheap and much nicer

Very good customer service and I have no problems being in the shop. The comics are perfectly fine.. I'm suprised at the bad reviews on here?? Nothing wrong this place have been going for 3-4 years now.

I waited a full 10 weeks for an order to arrive. Then one of the books is the wrong issue. The postage and packaging that you pay for is not reflected in the quality of that used. Nothing is bagged or boarded, and the flimsy envelope won't protect your books to survive the inevitable drop by a postman. Sorry to say I will not use them again.

How not to run a comic store 101!

First of all treat customer like idiots not a great thing to do! Especially if it's your first visit. Secondly having figures and general crap all over the comic boxes so nothing can be seen not a great way to sell stock. Thirdly pricing seems to be way off. Fourth try not to hound customers looking to browse. And finally try not to stink the shop out with cheap fried chicken. I feel sorry for Cardiff if this is your alternative to forbidden planet.
