The Crêpe Escape

We love it here. The food and coffee are delicious, local and all freshly prepared, the staff are friendly and professional, and most importantly, very patient with kids of all ages. Think this family-friendly atmosphere is why this place is so popular with parents, who can enjoy fantastic food and coffee, and know their kids will enjoy themselves too!

Rang to ask if we could arrive at 5.05 for a waffle. They were fine even though they close at 5.30. We had a lovely strawberry waffle and weren't hurried at all. Left at 5.30 very good service and lovely friendly staff.

Perfect place for food and a cuppa with little ones. Ample space for prams and high chairs. The staff cannot do enough for you. I asked for a combination that was not on the menu and they happily obliged. Delicious food, great premises and wonderful, helpful staff. Highly recommend. Thanks again guys x

I run Vegan events in Penarth Cardiff ,West Wales.Bristol. Hereford & Monmouth, Have been Vegan for 12 years & always looking for places to go to in Penarth where I live for vegan food etc. I loved the Crepe I had with wonderful Vegan coconut gelato ice cream.Also great coffee.However-I love oat milk & always take my own everywhere.The staff & the Owner are so friendly. Will go back for coffee-cakes etc,

I am a regular at the Crepe Escape and I simply love it! The food is delicious!! The crepes are amazing and the waffles are to die for! I love the wide choice of both sweet and savoury, that you can amend your order to suit your preferences and I love that the ingredients are all fresh and sourced locally. As a Mum, I love the family friendly atmosphere and that they have a play area for the kids. I would highly recommend!

Highly recommend! I hired the Crêpe Escape Penarth for my birthday, we all had the afternoon tea option. The food was outstanding & service was amazing! Thank you all so much for making my birthday perfect xxx

Great selection, delicious food and good area for small kids. Great vegan options, amazing chocolate orange gellato which is vegan

Extremely child friendly, lovely little play area, brilliant coffee, cakes, ice cream and obviously crepes! Also serves alcohol and if you ask they will make Freakshakes with alcohol in which are amazing! Plenty of space for prams etc and noisy enough that you don’t need to worry if your little one is throwing a tantrum! The staff are very friendly too. I can’t recommend this place enough!
