dont usually leave reviews but well deserved. came here tuesday lunch not sure what to expect maybe thought it was going to be another poor atempt at a chain pub cheap micro food, couldnt have been more wrong the food was amazing four of us ate not a scrap left, burgers with flavour, chicken melts with spring onion, cumberland sausage and mash all on a 2 for ôÈ8.49 menu probably the best pub food in wrexham very impressed. staff also very friendly, we will be in next tuesday and alot more often from now on. congratulations on a fantastic pub HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!!
We did stop going here a while back due to the poor quality of food and lack of good customer service, but do have to say the last few times we have visited recently for some food we could not fault the quality and the customer service has significantly improved, we even had a hiccup with our order this last time, but this was quickly rectified and sincere apologies were offered accordingly! Would definitely recommend
Really like this place and will definitely be back. Had the mushroom and red onion burrito with a side of curly fries and it was delicious! Prices are fantastic for both food and drink, especially the burger and drink deal which I'll go for next time. Toilets were immaculate and the whole place is decorated very nicely with plenty of booths to sit in :)
Popped in today for a family meal for my sisters birthday,the food was lovely and the the service was great,thankyou conrad!!
Perfect place to eat while you're in Wrexham. The food is delicious, the location is superb, the staff are wonderful and the prices are very good. 10/10
Visited today for the first time. Didn't know what to expect. Was very impressed nice clean and looked after pub. Had a lovely roast turkey dinner which was well worth the price. Nice fresh food. Compliments to the chef. Keep up the good work everyone! Will definitely be going again.
Ate yesterday had a beef Sunday dinner it was ok although I always say you get what you pay for should still be edible few of the roast pots was still frozen in the middle and the Yorkshire pudding could break your teeth if u bit into it my friend told the young lady who was working and her reply was oh rite I tell kitchen so that don't happen again in the future!! ÿ¢§

I came here for lunch with my friends and granted we weren't impressed with the service but for one of you're staff members to turn around and gives us attitude by calling us "cheeky bastards" is so uncalled for. Regardless of how difficult customers can be it's the staff's responsibility to remain professional. Please teach your staff to be professional or maybe the need more training.

Went for lunch this afternoon to sit waiting for food for 45 minutes. When it eventually arrived the all day breakfast was stone cold but did not bother to send it back as we had waited long enough ended up getting a sandwich on the way home ÿ¢§ would not go there again.
Too long a wait for fried ready meals, went for the Mexican pick'n'mix and received nachos without the salsa, sour cream and jalapeûÝos, (rather important ingredients), which we had to request, these were then brought to us in little jugs and cold. Quesadillas with no filling and very over fried to the point where they literally snapped and what I can only describe as uncle Ben's style microwavable rice. After complaining about the food we were offered only ôÈ2.30 refund! Staff could do with a smile on their chops too.
The food was cold and stale and the floor was so sticky I don't think it had been cleaned in a very long time. I would not recommend this place to anybody and will not be returning.
Scampi was burnt apparently "that's how they come" don't waste your money eat elsewhere!!!
Came for lunch today and waited 50 minutes for a sandwich and fish and chips. When I asked for our money back to be told by Lee Iãd actually only waited 45 mins and that we were told about the wait when we ordered (we were not told)
Will definitely not be returning!
Came for lunch only to wait almost an hour for dry, burnt and frankly unedible food. My chicken was so cremated i could barely cut into due to the burnt coating and the inside was totally dry. We ordered a side that was totally forgotten about. The food really lets this place down. Really disappointed. I paid ôÈ7.89 to eat a small side of chips and one slice of bacon with cheese on top. Utter rubbish. Wont be eating here again.
Its only saving grace is the decor and reasonably priced drinks.
Called for lunch on sunday with my husband son his partner and our grandson who is one and a half two of us had Sunday roast one had a salad and one had a all day breakfast our grandson also had small roast dinner waited an hour for our meals told it was because of cooking roast dinner. Meal came salad was nowhere near as described there was three elements missing roast dinner was the wors I've ever seen powdered mash plastic packaged turkey dried carrots look like the had been cooked a long time ago then re heated in a microwave andthe roast potatoes you can't even describe as for the Yorkshire pudding it was just a thick mass of uncooked dough the gravy was a thick jug of bisto. The managers attitude to our complaints was terrible and as we had attempted two mouthfuls of our meal he would not refund us. They shouldn't do food if they cannot produce a meal of a high standard I am a chef myself and would be ashamed to send out meals of that qaulity
Absolutely shocked that yesterday come here with my friends 1 has a near 6 month old baby yet when I asked for a jug of hot water or could they warm the babies food up they refused both.. never I have known a ãrestaurant/barã to refuse to warm up babies food or give something to the parent itãs usually 1 of them they allow.. so got my friends to get there money back An left.. how wrong of you so we went to Lloydãs across the Ria An guess wat they give us water to warm the babies food

Came for lunch today and waited 50 minutes for a sandwich and fish and chips. When I asked for our money back to be told by Lee Iãd actually only waited 45 mins and that we were told about the wait when we ordered (we were not told)
Will definitely not be returning!
Came for lunch only to wait almost an hour for dry, burnt and frankly unedible food. My chicken was so cremated i could barely cut into due to the burnt coating and the inside was totally dry. We ordered a side that was totally forgotten about. The food really lets this place down. Really disappointed. I paid ôÈ7.89 to eat a small side of chips and one slice of bacon with cheese on top. Utter rubbish. Wont be eating here again.
Its only saving grace is the decor and reasonably priced drinks.
Called for lunch on sunday with my husband son his partner and our grandson who is one and a half two of us had Sunday roast one had a salad and one had a all day breakfast our grandson also had small roast dinner waited an hour for our meals told it was because of cooking roast dinner. Meal came salad was nowhere near as described there was three elements missing roast dinner was the wors I've ever seen powdered mash plastic packaged turkey dried carrots look like the had been cooked a long time ago then re heated in a microwave andthe roast potatoes you can't even describe as for the Yorkshire pudding it was just a thick mass of uncooked dough the gravy was a thick jug of bisto. The managers attitude to our complaints was terrible and as we had attempted two mouthfuls of our meal he would not refund us. They shouldn't do food if they cannot produce a meal of a high standard I am a chef myself and would be ashamed to send out meals of that qaulity
Absolutely shocked that yesterday come here with my friends 1 has a near 6 month old baby yet when I asked for a jug of hot water or could they warm the babies food up they refused both.. never I have known a ãrestaurant/barã to refuse to warm up babies food or give something to the parent itãs usually 1 of them they allow.. so got my friends to get there money back An left.. how wrong of you so we went to Lloydãs across the Ria An guess wat they give us water to warm the babies food
