my boyfriend treated me to my first meal here last night, and all I can say is it was a defiant 20 out of 10 experience! we rang around 7 and was shocked to get a table for 8:30. we arrived very early but was in no rush so had a drink and sat outside (smelling the amazing food coming from inside) then my bf asked for a table in the bar f2 so we could enjoy our laughs without disturbing other dinners even know the staff were VERY busy not one failed to ask if we was ok, anything they can help, and always had a smile, the food was out of the world t bone for the big man and I had the veggie tart (didn't know what to expected but ��amazing) overall I would recommend this amazing atmosphere restaurant over any other thanks for a great night guys Jennings party F2 xxx

We’ve been going to cripple creek for years now and we love it! on arrival service is great, always a beautiful meal, very good portions and nothing is ever to much trouble hope to see you soon ����

We have been going to The Cripple Creek for years and always had excellent food. The staff and service were friendly and professional. We have been there for large party of 20+ and just 2 of us and they excel every time. Would definitely recommend it and it won’t be long before we are back there again.

We have been going here for years and the food is amazing. The staff are great and always willing to help. We took three babies/toddlers with us and the staff offered colours and books. Our two year old was very vocal - sorry - and we were made to feel very welcome. Already booked our Xmas meal.

We drove for nearly an hour and a half for a family meal here tonight....TOTALLY worth it, the staff were courteous, polite & extremely efficient... each course was absolutely scrummy and served in incredibly quick time considering there wasn't a free chair in the whole place...not one of us could find fault with the food, the staff or the whole ambiance....Well done to everyone at the Cripple Creek....1st class experience from start to finish and can't wait to come again...����

Warm and welcoming atmosphere. Great service from start to finish where every member of staff acknowledge you. Will definitely be returning and would absolutely recommend trying at least once with no doubt you'll return also �����

Visited for the first time today, and it was incredible. The staff are lovely, and friendly, it’s a beautiful place, and the food was absolutely stunning. Never had such nice food out. Can’t recommend this place enough. Amazing.

Visited for about third time in as many years, but was lovely. Service very quick and friendly. Landlady does lack social skills but if you’re used to her, you ignore it and enjoy the lovely food and staff.

The whole experience at The Cripple Creek Inn was more than positive. From the moment we arrived the service we received was outstanding with an approximate wait of 5 minutes between collection of one course to the next course arriving. The food itself was beautiful and the portion sizes were more than generous. The atmosphere was lovely throughout. Overall we would highly recommend this little country side pub and will definitely be returning.

Our 3rd celebration meal at this beautiful country pub. The food is 5 star along with the service. A big thank you for makng my son's 21st special. I had the trio of fish, it was supurbe!

Has to easily be one of the best restaurants in the Monmouthsire area!

Called there on the way back from London it was our first visit. It was recommended to us by friends and I can’t thank them enough for the recommendation. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and they met your every needs. The food was excellent and the portions were very generous. Would highly recommend it to all. Thank you.

An evening out for a special occasion and the food and the atmosphere and the quality of service was excellent and I would Highly recommend the food and atmosphere. The staff were polite ,helpful and made sure all went well with the meal

1st time I've been here, party of 7 celebrating a birthday, service on arrival woz excellent and though out our meal, food woz cooked and presented very well as woz all the sides, sweets again very well presented,and good coffee to end, cost woz good and fair, highly recommend and will be eating here again

Nice setting and friendly staff. Unfortunately the food left a lot to be desired, especially at the prices they charge. The sautéed potatoes were seared on the out side and uncooked inside, the mushrooms the steak sat on had the texture or being out of a tin, the fillet steak was just short of black on the outside and still very red on the inside for medium to well done which should be pink. The dessert, vanilla brûlée, tasted like custard mixed with gelatine & the white chocolate and raspberry trifle was very runny, neither desserts were eaten. In fairness they were deducted from the bill. Drinks are of average price but please expect to have to go up and down to the bar, as the serving staff do not ask if you would like another. Having paid £75+ for 2 I will be going to Pier 64 or The Priory for my steak in future.

Today we had meal, the stuff was very poor, having to go to the reception to get attention, after poor quality service and inexperienced stuff we were disappointed and we won't be recommending a visit to your Inn.
