A really lovely pub with a excellent view, it over looks the river, we didn't eat but the food looked really good

WOW Wow wow.... I had the Shoulder of Lamb.... Amazing meal... Ate outside As the view is tremendous up the River Dee. Even saw a young Heron on the River bank.
Great place to take family. We called at Ellesmere Lake straight after, Fed the geese and had a ice cream..... Lovely afternoo. xx

Amazing menu. There are plenty of restaurants with good menus, but restaurants which are so good that I want to come back for more are less common. Great location. Good range of drinks.

My husband took me to dinner there one night a couple of weeks as a surprise. It was wonderful. The food was great, the service was friendly and the restaurant was very clean. I loved the setting overlooking the water and they had a lovely outdoor area where people can sit and eat if they want to order from the bar. I look forward to going back some time.

It's a Brunning and Price pub. For those who have visited one of their premises I really don't need to say anything further. For those that have never visited, you will be treated to lovely decor, a warm welcome from friendly staff and food that is delicious and more importantly served in generous portions. The Cross Foxes itself overlooks the River Dee and had a lovely sun terrace. Seems to be very family friendly. Well recommended for a visit.

Great location by the river Dee - perfect for sitting out on sunny days. Play area for kids. Nice food.

Great place good food and beer. Can be a bit pricey but when the chef is on form it's great value.
