The Cross Keys Inn Penrhynside

A friendly Public House serving the community whilst providing a pit-stop for the traveller.

The Cross Keys Inn, built in the 1860s, is one of two pubs in Penrhynside, Llandudno. Awarded for its spectacular view across Penrhyn Bay and beyond, it offers a home to the local community as well as to the traveller looking for a pit-stop.

We, Robin Fitzpatrick, a past member of the British Institute of Innkeeping, CAMRA and recently awarded with the Cask Marque certificate, and Sabine Loeber, a former teacher from Germany, took over the free house in April 2015.

We serve 11 lagers, ciders and real ales on draught, a choice of 8 different red, white and rosé wines, an excellent range of spirits as well as a good selection of non-alcoholic drinks (including Providero coffee).

Daily entertainment is provided by our jukebox with a choice of over 100, 000 titles, and we show all the important sports events on the BT Sports channels in our lounge.
Our pool room invites you to enjoy a game of pool or a round of darts.
Occasionally there is live entertainment from local singers and bands, and in the near future we will do pub quizzes, karaoke /sing-along nights and Stitch & Bitch meetings for the ladies.

Soon the back patio will be open for our guests. Although only accessible via a public footpath you will be able to enjoy your drinks on the sunny patio by ordering it through our intercom system straight from the bar and it will be served through the stable door that has just been fitted.

Once the commercial kitchen has been equipped we will also offer basket meals, pies and stone-oven baked pizzas.

Families with children are very welcome in our pub until 9 pm. We provide board games, Lego, crayons and paper as well as a small selection of sweets, ice-lollies and low-sugar drinks for them.

And last but not least we offer free wifi for all our guests.
