Fab food...fab service...friendly staff...good value

I'm rating it low due to one reason. The fish.
I used to go there for the best fish and chips for me and the carvery for the wife.carvery excellent fish dire. It used to be massive and a proper piece of fish covering the length of the plate.with beautiful crispy batter and loafs of chips.I was really stuffed with quality. Now it has changed supplier and is no way as large a potion as it was.half the size and half the chips.very disappointed. I loved my monthly treat but won't make the journey from neath to swansea for plain food which is still the same original price .staff are great but totally devastated with the mini stickleback meal.

Food is really good and there is a wide range of drinks to choose from.
There is also an outside seating area where you can drink or eat.
The cross keys is a very old pub with a nice atmosphere. Prices for both food and drink are very reasonable.
Just as nice a visit if you have your lunch or dinner alone ☺ .

The bar service was slow not enough staff . However the member of staff that served me was amazing.
Telling us to use the ATM as it was free. If you use a card there is a charge of 50p
The toilets were clean and in good order.
It was about 25 minutes before we had our food.
When the food came it was good and value for money.

Nice place full of old women hitting on young men! Beer is nice and a really nice beer garden. Price wise it's in the city centre so very where is expensive but it's cheaper than wind street

We were looking forward to a bit of historical atmosphere in this pub. We had the kids with us but were really disappointed that no children policy applied. Considering it was empty at 5 in the afternoon it could have done with the custom. We saw other people turned away with kids. We did return for a pint as our kids had gone off with a friend. However no atmosphere and no friendly welcome which you wouldn't expect from the oldest pub in swansea. Let down!!!

Love the Cross Keys! It's a great traditional pub in the city centre. It almost looks out of place but I love it there. Staff are friendly and efficient. They have a great beer and wine selection and are great for groups. There's a function room there too for private parties and a massive beer garden which is an asset.

So glad to find this little hidden gem. Never had bad food always freshly cooked and delicious with generous size potions and great variety. Bar staff so friendly and genuine. Highly recommended..
