About The Delta Academy Of Dance And Performing Arts
We run classes in Dance, Drama and Singing to an incredibily high standard. Welcome to our world of Performing Arts.
The Delta Academy Of Dance And Performing Arts Description
The Delta Academy of Dance and Performing Arts offer weekly dance classes for children aged 2 1 /2 years and upwards. Classes are held in Borras Park, Tanyfron, Garden Village and Ruabon. Dance classes include Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Song, Street and Mime. These exciting classes start from just £5 a lesson and lead to medal tests, trophies, qualifications and shows. All syllabi follow LAMDA (Drama), National College of Music and LAMDA (Singing) and ISTD and ADA (Dance).
The Delta Academy also offer a Performing Arts Package which includes three hours of tuition; one hour of Drama, one hour of Singing and one hour of Dance. These fun-filled, dynamic classes are held on Friday evenings or Saturday afternoons and are taught by highly qualified, experienced tutors.
Delta also offers an Annual Production performed in a major theatre and a Summer School. The Summer School provides a week long course for children; Week 1- Drama and Theatre Craft and Week 2- Dance Intensive.

Such an emotional and brilliant weekend and we are finally just getting around to post about it. We have been working so so hard towards our Show that troupes have had to take a back seat and yet look at those results!! We are British Troupe Champions 2019!!! As a school, we are so busy which is brilliant and we often don’t have the time to celebrate our successes before we are onto the next event....Just always know we as teachers are so proud of you all, always. We are a team! It takes dedication, commitment and hard work from our pupils and patience, time from teachers who care so let’s finish this year on a high note and have a brilliant show next week 💕
A special mention to our troupe Snakes who won the overall British Troupe Champions, the youngest (ages 12-14yrs) in their category out of section of 20 troupes, competing against 18 year olds and they went and won!! 🏆 Well done girls, we are super proud of you 💕

After an amazingly crazy year, we are throwing an after show Disco at Brymbo Sports and Social Club on November 29th to celebrate all of our successes this year and to just let our hair down and have fun 🥳
Tickets for the disco will be available to purchase in advance at our Studios for £3.
... This is a fundraising event and a licensed bar will be open.

Costume photos will be taken in all classes this week. Please bring all the costumes you have already been given. Hair to be done as stated on costume letter and make up to be worn as follows:
Make up: foundation, blue eye shadow, red lipstick, blusher, eyeliner flicks for for corner of eyes.
Our set has arrived and is up and ready for our first photo shoot tonight 😃
