Soooo missing people today.. Bored and miserable. Doing the right thing but not saying the right thing. Sorry. -Admit I'm missing family. Missing friends. This is tough. Nice sunset. Want it to set on this virus. Total respect for those who are doing the right thing without the luxury of the view and nature on the doorstep. Those who don't even have s garden . Total respect. You are really good people. -staying home for your fellows. How dare I even think about feeling sorry for myself.x

Well I suppose at least the weather is lovely. Flowers . New hedges starting to bloom, fruit trees budding and bog garden settling.. still waiting for grass to grow but bit of green show promise.... See you all soon. Miss you xx

So .. weird only cooking Sunday Lunch for 4 people! We trialed people who booked ages ago, in rooms last night... room service delivery of breakfasts.. Tables and chairs in all rooms now, even the smallest. However, the only visitors we're encouraging for at least the next few weeks, are the ducks who have taken up resistance in the 'work in progress ' landscaped paddock. Stay home, save lives x

Well on a day when life as we know it seems to have stopped and feeling really miserable about not seeing all the loveely people who visit us... 2 new visitors!!! All the hard work 'project paddock' paying off. Thank you Dean William for telling us they were there. Camera Pjs and wellies. Surprised I didnt scare them off. Xx

Had already cancelled Friday Steak night tonight and cut down to minimum number of guests for Sunday Lunch so as to to have at least 6ft between tables. However, we obviously accept the current directive and our bar and restaurant will be closed until we are told otherwise. So sorry to let our friends down. Stay healthy and see you when we all come out of the other side of this xx

One smallish table still available for Sunday Lunch (Mothers Day). We are also having a Steak night this Friday 20th as a 'chill ouy' at the end of a stressful week
We understand that this is a worrying and time for everyone and we want to say a big thank you to all the lovely people who visited us yesterday. We’d like to assure you that the safety, health and wellbeing of our customers and our young staff is our absolute priority. We are not a large venue. More like a coz...y, friendly place. We only ever have a small number of visors at any one time. We will stay vigilant listening to news and information and we will of course take onboard any recommended guidelines and government advice.
We will continue to be open for Sunday Lunches and our Steak night this Friday 20th. However, if you’ve made a reservation and you’re not feeling up to it, we’d really appreciate it if you could let us know as soon as soon as you possibly can. We totally understand.. Hope this message finds you in the best of health Take care x
