Lovely choice of home cooked meals. Good quality ingredients. Friendly staff. Delicious puddings

Range of food is pretty much a combination of grilled meat and chips, which isn't to say what's on offer isn't great - this was just a victim of circumstance as this was precisely about 3rd on the list of things I didn't want for dinner that evening. The rest of the group seemed to enjoy themselves though.

Someone might need to take a look at the wifi set up though, as that appeared to be simultaneously working and yet not at the same time.

Lovely staff and the food is delicious. Teacakes were the best I've tasted. Highly recommended to stop on the way to the ferry port.

Stopped here for breakfast at around 7.15 in the morning after an extremely long car journey. Had a small wait as they were not open when we arrived. When we re-entered the building, a fresh table had already been prepared. We were seated and both ordered the full breakfast. Food came out incredibly quick and was excellent. Service was great and price was reasonable.

I have been calling at The Forge for coffee and toast, and the occasional lunch, for many years. I am always welcomed warmly, coffee arrives promptly, the place is always clean. Altogether a pleasant experience.
