Well It’s my last working day at the pub and I can’t wait to finish. I want to thank everyone for their support in the 8 months we have been in charge. It has been a real experience! At times I have enjoyed but others not so much. Stock is running seriously low for these last 2 days open so get what you can. We’ll be doing PIMMS jugs tomorrow evening! £1 a cup and a price change on the flavoured gins also. Grab a bargain! Thanks again everyone (Will see you on the ‘other side of the bar’) - Jake

Just to let everyone know, this week will be a matter of running the stock down as much as we can. We apologise in advance if we haven’t got much on the shelves or down the cellar but we are leaving Tuesday. THIS Saturday will be the last open day. The pub will be shut Sunday and Monday and new tenants Suzie and Charlie will be taking over Tuesday. Please spread the word and let locals and friends know. Thank you so much!

Those of you who like to come for Curry & a pint, might be worth coming earlier to grab your seats and finish in time for Open Mic. CURRY & A PINT NIGHT TONIGHT! £7.50 ALL HOMEMADE.

We were a little late but they still accommodated us and were very friendly. The food was fantastic! We enjoyed the pub area afterwards using the jukebox with friendly staff and locals. Thank you for a lovely evening as we were only visiting for the day.

We recently spent a week in the village. Charlie and all the staff were so accommodating. We ate there every evening, the food was delicious even when we arrived late they always made sure we were fed and were so welcoming. The butty bach beer was also fab. We recommend this pub. Thank you so much we are missing the wonderful relaxed atmosphere. We will return.

Having been new to the village (about 10 months) I was worried the way the pub was going... however under new management, the place is transformed... great food, great staff and great atmosphere �� no more worries...

Beautiful food, I had the famous gourmet burger and my girlfriend had the butterfly chicken, will definitely be back again, top drawer! Jake and his brother (didn’t catch his name) doing a great job! All the best boys!
