The Gazelle Hotel Beaumaris

Visited for Sunday lunch, what a beautiful setting right on the Menai straits, the staff were fabulous, really cosy and inviting inside, with a lovely atmosphere, Sunday lunch was excellent, presented well, hot, fresh and fresh vegetables, it was very good value for money, my new favourite place...

Since being under new management, this little gem will only get better. New management are definitely making the necessary changes. The food was delicious.

Second time visiting, the food was incredible and the service amazing as always! I highly recommend this place if you want a laid back evening and a good chat with the staff. Last time we were here we were sat at the bar until early hours of the morning and this time we didn't want to leave again! Brought the whole family and even they throuroughky enjoyed themselves and didn't want to leave!

Lovely food. Good choice of fresh ingredients. I'm not a fish fan, but lots of choices there. Vegetarian options too. I enjoyed an amazing burger with sides so didn't need to order any extras. Absolutely beautiful views across the Straits towards the mainland. I'll definitely be back because I know they do a lovely lunch menu too.

It's been my favourite place on Anglesey for 50 years, it never fails to impress me with its fab food and glorious views

I would love to say I was there Saturday night with my cousins Michael and gwer Harrison and the food was absolutely beautiful steak was perfectly done for me your hotel is beautiful warm and very welcoming and I loved the way even the shef even came out to ask if our food was ok we will be back very soon well done to you all there many thanks Ken Rellis

Found this gem last year & been back this weekend. Great food, so so friendly, great views & hopefully back April. We just love 😀😀.

First ever Afternoon Tea served up by the Gazelle for us yesterday - amazing !!! All freshly made and delicious. Thank you chef James and team for the welcome and service. Incredible Tea with a view, overlooking the Menai Straits and Bangor Pier with Snowdonia as a backdrop , what more could one want. Thanks again, we will be back.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Asked for a bacardi and coke. Think the girl was in training because I nearly ended up with half a pint of Bacardi. Lol. We had a good laugh with the manager who had a great sense of humour. Definitely worth a visit.

The staff was great and helpful. The food tasty and the atmosphere was cozy. The best thing about this hotel was having a room with a view of a spectacular sunrise coming up over the Menai Strait and going outside early morning to watch the sunrise and sailboats. It was serene & peaceful. Thank-you for making my stay enjoyable and memorable.

Thanks to Maldwyn and Hannah for a lovely lunch with friendly service. Also a lovely pot of tea to end off. Every good wish for your future success

Lovely staff, and when we left, we wanted to turn round and go right back. That's the magic of this place, and the people of Beaumaris and Anglesey.

Lovely spot ! Room was clean and very pretty (we were in the annex) . View are stunning. Had a beautiful piece of sea bass. Staff fantastic - helpful and nothing was too much bother !

Had a lovely few hours here. The staff & local people were very friendly. A beautiful picturesque spot. The food was excellent ....sea bass with grated crispy fennel, new buttered potatoes with scream sauce & green beans was "to die for" could eat all over again!

Good food, great view. Service was good too but only given 4* because it was very quiet and wonder what it would be like on a busy, sunny day. Will come back and find out

Well not sure how this gets 5 stars aN to be honest it was a hard 2 dirty for a start we were shown to the room and then told it's not ready go to the food festival ok we though..... couldn't even park wasted an hour then went back fully booked so could not even eat there. Do you have an upgrade room I can pay extra for.. no your rooms a good one... eeerrrr no I don't think so dirty smelly Shabby the terrace is a garage roof the bins were all full guests glasses all over the tables.

It's fair to say I would have given 1 star, but because I have had excellent service in the past I gave 2 stars.



Visited very recently and sadly the food was terrible and whilst there other people also sent food back.



Great views, has been a great dinning spot and a reputation to win back, as there are to many other dining spots in the area to go to.

It's OKish - people who give this place 5☆ obviously never travel further than this place. There is no WiFi for a start. half the light bulbs in the room didn't work. Including in the shower. Food and bar are good but service sucks was offered dessert and then the guy never came back until we walked out. And then checkout took 30 minutes as the waiter hadn't entered our dinner and drinks into the system and then the morning staff couldn't find him and had to phone around until they did!!! Place needs painting too especially the staircases. Nice spot but really could be so much better with a little effort on behalf of the owners and staff. We won't be back...
