We held a reunion dinner at The Goat Hotel in June 2017, eleven of us enjoyed really good food and excellent service in this friendly dining room. We would recommend The Goat Hotel to all our friends.

We just spent a night here, had two rooms that were absolutely great. The food was excellent, as was the beer. Richard and co do a very good job. Would highly recommend this hotel. It has that old wordly charm that is becoming rare these days. Do be careful if you are tall, low beams every turn!

Great food, service and experience overall. Older pub which maintains its character. Food was fantastic and thoroughly recommend the Lamb Shank which was one of the best I have ever tasted.
Rest of the group I was with said steaks were more well done than medium/medium-rare which is what they asked for but still good regardless. Chicken with Sauteed Leeks in a Dijon Mustard Sauce was great too.
Butterscotch Ice Cream dessert was one of the best. Brandy Snaps were more chewy than crisp.
Worth a visit if you are passing through.
