Great food and really good value. Nice old Inn atmosphere, good beer selection and very nice staff.

This was a great place to eat when we were on holiday .We kept going back as food was excellent and wide choice of food at reasonable prices. Service was good and friendly .

I've been going here for years. And never been disappointed. Always have nice food and the service is good. And my little one likes coming here for lunch and evening meal! And the Sunday dinner is delicious :-) I would advice to phone for reservation.

Great traditional pub food. We ate here mid-week in the summer holidays and booked on the day. It's a good job we did as it was busy when we arrived, and I'm not sure we would have got a table otherwise. The lamb shank was delicious and the steak and kidney pie from the specials was excellent too (great gravy on both!).

We were warmly welcomed when we arrived by the very friendly staff. We then had a lovely meal which was beautifully presented and piping hot. Even though the restaurant was exceptionally busy the staff, (particularly Lewis) still took the time to explain the menu and choices available. The atmosphere was relaxing. There was background music but this was not at an intrusive level. We will be returning for meals in the future.

My wife and I are regulars to the Goat on Sundays and have introduced lots of friends, everyone we have taken have returned because of the good food, fair prices and helpful staff.
Because of the good food you need to book your table early as the pub soon fills quickly.

Great food and atmosphere, staff helpful but a bit "in client mode " ... more soul to it ? Anyway food was great ...
