MUSIC AT THE MILE Great time this afternoon listening to JORDAN MARKS on the terrace, good food, good company, good music AND brilliant weather - hope you all had a great time. Next music session will be on Monday May 28th with the fabulous PAPER MOON JAZZ BAND - same time (3.30pm), same place!

Went for a meal last night with my husband and 3 children (aged 2, 4, 6). It was a lovely experience. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious and good portions. My 6-year old, who is a fussy eater, asked if we could go there for food every day, so that’s a massive plus point for us! We will definitely be going back, especially when the weather improves so the kids can play in the park! Diolch for a lovely evening...it’s difficult to find a good restaurant which is also child friendly! I’ll be telling all my friends to visit xx

We went yesterday Thursday evening for our second time with two friends who had not been for many years. Everybody enjoyed three courses and everything was perfect with both the presentation and quality of every dish we had! Excellent in every way, we will be back again soon ���

We just had a fantastic lunch with friends, including 5 children and 2 babies - the waiting staff were brilliant, accommodating and even whipped up some children’s meals rather than the Sunday roast. Service was great and the food was delicious. Highly recommend.

Was there on a very busy day, although this didn't hinder the experience. Staff were impeccable, attentive and very informative. Food was wonderful, highly recommended and will be calling again for sure.

Visited for Mothers Day today, amazing service and a fabulous meal. Really couldn't do enough for us and the quality of the food and wine was outstanding. Highly recommend Sunday lunch, can't wait to try the evening meal menu.

Nothing was overlooked and all my Family and Friends and I were so impressed with your professional attention to detail. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection ; our compliments to a talented chef and staff. We joined two of my Family for Sunday lunch,the following day. The restaurant was fully booked and, again, the food was delicious and plentiful with an excellent variety.The staff was professional ,attentive and friendly. Isabella deserves a mention. Booking is recommended at any time.

Accommodation is available; the en-suite bedrooms are tastefully decorated, reflecting the renovation of The Golden Mile Inn. 100% satisfaction !

Sunday roasts deserve the 5* with plenty of meat included in the portion along with a choice of vegetable. Only negative is the service was a little bit on the slow side and drinks took a while to get to our table once ordered. The setting is lovely and will be back .... just hope the service is a bit better.

Simply the best Sunday dinner ever. Absolutely stunning. Beautiful place with stunning views.

After eating there can easily see why this is such a popular location. The food was excellent and the service, although it was busy there, was quick and friendly. We’ll definitely be going back to sample more off the menu. Highly recommended

10 of us came tonight for my mums birthday absolutely amazing food for all of us, the best meal i have had out in a very long time. Such lovely staff and a gorgeous place and atmosphere. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back very soon!

The only problem was that my salmon wasn’t cooked enough for my liking. I sent it back & still couldn’t eat it all. I like my salmon very well done. But the decor & atmosphere is lovely & the prawn cocktail was yummy!

A very nice place, with friendly courteous staff, which went some way to counter the slightly slow service.



It was a shame the rain came in, (as the area outside is very nice and well maintained), only one umbrella was available for the tables out side. If there were more, the blankets that were readly available would have kept us there longer, as seating inside did become limited.

The food and the service were still good.

Unfortunately our evening was let down by a few things:-

- a car was parked in a very inconvenient spot making parking of our car difficult.

- when my wife booked, she specified a table near to the disability-access toilet. Upon our arrival such tables were already taken, and we had to sit in another part of the restaurant.

- The tables were very close together, making passing through the restaurant very difficult.
