Stayed overnight for the local Gower Cider Festival. Extremely warm welcome from all the staff and the room was well appointed and very comfortable. Enjoyed a great meal in the restaurant that evening and the breakfast was superb. Would highly recommend a visit here.

We ate in the new refurbished Monroe's restaurant. The service was good, although we were not served our wine until after our main meal was served.
We both had the duck which was delicious, although the only criticism was we only had 1 potato which we felt for a main meal was not sufficent.
We ordered the cheese board for dessert , which again was nicely presented , although we did feel it was very overpriced at £9.50 for the amount of cheese we had.

Called down with my wife for a drink and to look at the menus to see if the new owners from Tavern Y Deri would learn from the mistakes of the previous owners. Unfortunately it didnt look as if they have. Still very high prices on food so therefore only serving for the elite in the area and beyond. There was a real ale on offer so I asked for a little taste to try it, it was not to my liking so had had a lager instead.
The comfortable area within the conservatory had gone and replaced with standard tables & chairs(shame).
If there were 10 or more people wishing to use the bar on a rainy day they would have a struggle.
I was annoyed at the bar because they did not have a pay machine at the bar and I had to give my card details on a piece of paper for them to take my payment elsewhere, the barman did not give me a receipt I had to go and ask for one to check the amount taken and to my total amazement there was a charge on my account for 80p for a soft drink. I told the barman that I had not had a soft drink and he told me that I had been charged for tasting the real ale-UNBELIEVABLE.
How petty & tight can you be. Please get a grip & price items for real people .

Really lovely little hotel, off the beaten track but beautifully designed and with a great atmosphere

Extremely dissapointed. We had a group for a memorial service for my father. Dispite having pre-order the service was poor. ang guests kept waiting for 1hr +. Another group clearly had priority. Most guests said the Lamb was inedible. For Wales this is a disgrace.
Very disappointed with complete lack of service or interest in our needs. Staff were not to blame. This is a management issue.
We were given a discount on the remaining bill as we had paid a deposit. My mother a Mumbles "girl" was highly embarrassed. This was a memorial for her husband on Langland Bay. Wish we had gone to the Langland Brasserie.
Not recommended.

Nice staff, lovely food but very cold room. They should put the heating on before you get too your room and the noise from the boiler kept us awake half the night.
