We had breakfast at The Grail this morning and it was lovely! I had the porridge with banana cup, and my partner had the granola cup, we both really enjoyed. My vanilla latte was one of the best I've had in town. Will definitely be back again soon.

Upstairs, pleasant, light airy surroundings and decor; upholstered window seats. Downstairs more intimate, well-refurbished. Toilet modern and clean. Friendly, local business. Food is great, and good value. Coffee good also. Nothing not to like.

Lovely little cafe, staff are welcoming and absolutely fantastic! I loved my pancakes bacon and maple syrup even my 6month old son was a fan of the pancakes! everything is homemade by the fantastic Red :) The cafe itself looks fab and the decoration is lovely and very cosy! First visit to The Grail today, and we absolutely loved it! Singapore Chicken & Jasmine rice was out of this world. SO tasty! Even had enough room for a Chocolate & Marshmallow cupcake, which was amazing. Lovely atmosphere, super friendly staff & lush food at a very good price. Definitely be back soon! :)

First time at The Grail today, for lunch. Really excellent food. The chicken and mango salad was delicious and the sticky toffee pudding had loads of sauce and a nice blob of good ice cream. I'd have been happy with anything on the menu - I'll be back!

Even on its second day, I've already tried around half the menu and nothing has disappointed yet. Stunning food, all handmade by Red. Friendly service and a lovely atmosphere both upstairs and downstairs. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu!
