Thanks again to all the fantastic entries we received in our Amateur Beer Festival yesterday. 16 amazing beers were tried and tested and Simon Jenkins Oatmeal Stout ‘Fat Controller’ stole the show. Stay tuned to try this on tap in the pub 🍺✨

The weather has not been kind to us today but don't worry! The show will go on! The amateur beer competition and all of today's acts will be moved inside. The competition will start at 2pm, with our very own barman Joel Hurst playing at 4pm, Best Foot Forward will rock the place at 6pm and finishing off with Grange favourites Casio at 9pm. What a way to spend a wet Bank Holiday!!

When the locals lost a local pub it was replaced with an establishment that shines out for the whole community. Six stars and more.

Went there for Sunday lunch yesterday and just got in. All tables were reserved. We both hade the beef and how good it was! Medium rare amd a tasty cut. Beautifully light Yorkshire (none of your aunt Bessie’s rubbish - home made). Lovely cauliflower cheese and gorgeous and crisp roasties. Best Sunday lunch out in Cardiff in years and only £12.00.

Went here with friends and family lovely atmosphere, decor and food! We all loved the chips and the kids loved the games and fish and chips! We'll definitely go back! Also the sunny beer garden looked amazing!

Went for a family afternoon as we had heard such great reports. Fabulous family friendly pet friendly with a wonderful welcoming atmosphere. It was glorious weather so the beer garden was full with great live entertainment and bbq food on offer. Food and drink very competitively priced .....will definately be visiting again and would highly recommend

Wednesday evening. Bumped into some friendly faces. Encouraged to do the quiz at the new Grange. By 8pm you couldn't get a seat anywhere. Great fun. Difficult quiz but I won a free pint of delicious cloudy cider for knowing the answer to a question on actress Hedy Lamar. Lots of familiar faces there and just a short walk home. Marvellous!

They have done a great job with the Refurb. The changes aren't too drastic but the place is so much brighter and fresher. There last night from dinner and a few pints. The service was great and the food was absolutely delicious. All of our options were top notch.

The home of great food (chef is a legend), great quizzes, great ales and the pump lines are very clean which is super important and not taken seriously by many other pubs. Really enjoyed my Sunday lunch today, especially the cauliflower cheese and roasties. Staff were really lovely and service was fast. I will definitely be coming again, and recommending to friends.

Lovely, friendly and clean pub. Lovely decor and a fab beer garden. Nice to have a decent pub in the area. Looking forward to having a meal in there.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere, great for couples families and on your own..food is very good.

Kids welcome ...lovely garden..also dog friendly. .love it.

Just wanted to say a big thank you to Dai and Team at The Grange pub. We held a team event there and they couldn’t have been more helpful beforehand with the planning and on the night. The food was delicious, very impressive and we were looked after all evening. We had a darts and skittles tournament and the guests all had a fab time. The pub is lovely very fresh and clean but still cosy with a good atmosphere. Thanks again guys. We will be back � Lou

Had a fantastic night here last night for my sisters wedding. It is great location for a party, has really friendly and attentive staff and gorgeous food. Highly recommended

Food in here is stunning.no it's not cheap but it is reasonable and it's cooked fresh and it's soooo good...

Fab pub with awesome food and totally dog friendly

Excellent lunch with so many veggie options. The pakora burger with real chips was really good, as was the corned beef hash. Would definitely recommend it and will be going again.

Booked table for 12 for Hubby's birthday today... Awesome food :-)so tasty & reasonable price too! amazing service, staff are so chatty & friendly! Would definitely recommend visiting to anyone & 100% go again! Best roast around by far!

A friend of mind invited me to play in the darts tournament that wa being played there in the evening, so i got there in the afternoon and had a lighy snack in the beer garden whilst sampling my way through the cider that was on offer. Unfortunately lost in the 2nd round but won a bottle of champers in the raffle. The atmosphere was fantasic and the bar staff were friendly.
