Breakfast was good had thick cut proper backon not the watery stuff good value would go there again

We've been several times. Really friendly staff. Large menu choice. Fabulous breakfasts. Food is always cooked really well and we're always stuffed. Kitchen is in the middle of two seating areas so you can see your food being prepared or browse the many magazines, trains are a popular theme. If you are looking for good quality food, stop here and enjoy joy, then walk around the lovely town.

Came here last week was on hoilday oh my god what lovely cafe food was red hot good value for money will be coming here again 5 stars well done xxxxx

On entering there is a strong smell of greasy cooking, but decided to give the place a try . Only the waiter was polite and friendly. The girl was surley and abrupt. On ordering was told 30 minutes wait . Should have walked out then , however our hot drink was served and was cold b4 the food came the tea tastes of smoked fish ! The meal not nice, poor quality food . We live local approximately 35 miles away, but would never go back mainly because of the abrupt , surly service . Quite expensive .

Extremely poor breakfast swimming in grease vegitarian sausage was cremated and had to use serviettes to soak this up. Went on recommendation of tripmaster would not recommend .

We called in here for a relaxing drink after a long drive. My wife went in and saw the sign saying to order your drinks at the bar. She waited quite some time but no one came to take her order. She heard 2 young girls chatting and giggling behind a screen so asked in there for 2 drinks. She was told sternly to go to the bar and wait!!
My wife was shocked by the way she was spoken to and i had a shock when the drinks were brought out to us and vertually dropped on our table. The young girl didnt say a word.
I dont know which charm school she went to but failed her customer care/service exam.

Loved it. Good food selection, nice staff.
