Wow!!
Fantastic food and excellent service.....Soooo friendly.
We started with a table for 4, this changed to 6 then to 7 - Not an issue with the staff at all, fitted us in immediately.
The food was fantastic, plenty of it and we were all absolutely stuffed. What a place, thank you to all the staff, will definitely go again at the first opportunity when next in the area.
We had a wonderful getaway break at Grapes Hotel. Excellent accommodation, delicious food and extremely friendly staff plus beautiful location.
Lovely food. Very generous portions! You are advised to starve yourself for the day before dining!
Fantastic. Lovely staff, clean tables, excellent food. We are so pleased the Grapes is back on form and even better than ever after all these years. AND the ribs are amazing again.
First the good, all staff were very friendly, their rib eye steak was one of the best I have had in a long time. Great Guinness as well. Nice quite area with great scenery.
The bad, I didn't like the mattress, was too uncomfortable for me, the shower screen didn't stop some of the water going onto the floor, also when having a shower the water didn't drain quick enough so your standing ankle high in water. And when you use the sink water bubbles out of the bath.
The rooms are nice and the food is very good but it feels a bit more like a local drinkers pub .
Food was great. Service was a bit slow but understandable since it was Saturday night
Went there for a meal. Meals were okay. Service was good but restaurant area was cold. My wife and I had to keep our coats on.
We were staying locally and the grapes was recommended so we gave it a go. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the food was great! Unfortunately the restaurant was very cold even though a waitress turned on a wall heater! I had my coat on all the time i was there! I know it was March but the heating was inadequate for the room!
