Great pint of ale with a light lunch. Fast food service, good value for money.

Brilliant location staff are really plesent and helpful they always seem to be smiling!breakfast is cooked really well rooms are clan and spacious love it here its close to shops pubs and restaurants good value for money! Looking forwards to going back soon!!

Nice place quite spaced out for seating, clean and tidy. Staff are pleasant and friendly, ladies toilets are modern, very clean and well maintained. There was a real ale festival on and food is reasonably priced.

Beers were plentiful and great selections. Food on the other hand not so good. V poor in fact. For bangers and mash(veg)- Mashed potatoes were similar to "smash". And peas were frozen peas by looks of it. For the price of it I expected I little bit more effort/quality.

Wetherspoon's - Smaller than many of their establishments as such I feel it's a little more intimate. Unfortunately, this establishment has reduced the number of ales it offers (replaced by the usual offerings that target the teen scene etc). Has always been cleaner than the Prince of Wales (currently being refurbished I understand, let's hope that when it reopens our feet will no longer stick to the floor!).

Always come here on return from Spain and is first class.Look forward to it.

Music and cheap drinks. Food is good, a good place to start your night out

I will never come to this Wetherspoons again. The Prince of Wales is only a short walk away and the food and service is consistently good there. We ordered chicken skewers which were first serve cold and then brought back overcooked, to the point of inedible. The manager is not the friendliest of senior staff and was full of excuses rather than apologies. They didn't bring are side salads and my sons burger, which we requested to be plain, was brought out with salad on; catalogue of errors really. VERY DISAPPOINTING
