The Green Donkey is an exciting new venture catering to those with a spirit of adventure who care about good well sourced wholesome food and drinks. The focus is on locally sourced food with an interesting kick drawing on a range of culinary styles but always with that little extra. . . . kick! The love of donkeys and concern for animal welfare is key to The Green Donkey philosophy , so we serve vegan, vegetarian and only free range animal products.
We serve a wide range of usually spicy food, interesting deep filled wraps, chillies and spicy hot food served with tabbouleh and /or wraps or freshly baked rolls, tasty home cooked soups using only the freshest and greenest ingredients. Other savoury snacks and foods will be available depending on the season.
Home baked cakes and cinnamon bus to accompany coffee or a range of select teas. Smoothies and freshly pressed juices or fruit salads are also on offer in addition to a carefully selected range of bottled drinks and sweet but healthy snacks.
The Green Donkey can be easily spotted at festivals, and all types of outdoor events, with its designer trailer making an interesting talking point and an easily recognisable meeting place that will brighten up all types of festivals and outdoor events from theater to sporting occasions.
