What a find!Derek found this place on his phone and I'm so glad he did.I had one of the best Lasagnes I've ever had, served by the nicest, friendliest staff who couldn't do enough for us.Derek had fish and chips, the fish was huge, with REAL chips! He couldn't finish it and that's saying something. We sat out in their beautiful lawned beer-garden surrounded by flowers, underneath a parasol which was welcome today.I really recommend this place!

User

Was only here on a mates jolly , sat outside very relaxed , the food smelled nice - we had arrived just after time for meals :-( otherwise we might have had a meal . After walking around the town we couldn’t help notice how many pubs were shut & borded up ! So hopefully for the remainder you will all survive :-)

User

Thank you to all at the Grofield yesterday for making my birthday celebrations memorable, your hospitality is always 1st class, sun or no sun!

User

One of the best Sunday lunch I’ve ever eaten! The most succulent lamb, beautifully fresh vegetables, amazing roasties, and gravy that if I had not been in public, I’d have poured into a cup and drank what was left!

I was going to share the dessert with my partner, but after the first mouthful decided sharing was not going to happen, so ordered another!

Incredibly friendly service, would highly recommend! And certainly will be returning!

User
