STEAK NIGHT & LIVE MUSIC TONIGHT

User

just had the most amazing carvery sunday lunch. meat just melted in your mouth and a really good selection of fresh veg.couldnt fault anything. simply delicious.

User

Well that was a great meal. We both had the Feather Steak from the steak night menu and a sticky toffee pud and the profiteroles for £10 a head. We added onion rings and pepper sauce for an extra £2 .Really good value xx

User

We had our Christmas works party here, the Grosvenor team did an absolute fab job...all enjoyed...food was delicious, Turkey and beef done to perfection!! Attended the Sunday carvery today, I had the beef again because it was so tender and really tasty. My husband had a mix of pork and beef...Needless to say our plates were clean. You really do need to try, real value for money and the staff are A*

User

Tried the steak night a few weeks ago and it was absolutely stunning! Great value for money! Today we went for the Sunday Carvery. Was really lovely, and we enjoyed a drink out on the terrace in the sunshine after our meal. Keep up the good work everyone!

User

The Grosvenor is the best Pub I've been in & the best Summer beer garden..The Staff are second to None, especially Tracy....

User

Popped here for a drink 🥃 decided to stay and have a bite to eat busy but sat out in the sunshine ☀️ a beautiful view and my partner had steak and ale pie and chips I had home made lasagne food was delicious and drinks a good price too would definitely eat here again 👍😊

User

Managed to book a table last minute a couple of weeks ago for Sunday dinner, was a bit dubious as it was a carvery, however it was just bloody lovely! The meat fell apart as it was that tender, potato and veg selection was good including my sons favourite cauli cheese. The staff here are all lovely and a credit to the place.

User

Had a Sunday carvery there, just popped in off the street, staff were friendly, it was quiet, the food was lovely, as much meat as you could eat, very tasty and at £22 for 2 carverys and 2 drinks great value too

User

2nd time in it in the past year , delighted with both the food and service both times . Going to the Grosvenor will become a regular occurence when we are over in Wales .

User

Lovely meal feather steak and all the trimmings. Sticky toffee pud with custard all was delicious, the staff were very friendly and polite a very nice place

User

Lovely local pub, great staff and the food for what it's priced at its really good food; not high end cuisine but really good solid pub grub fairly priced, wouldn't hesitate to go again

User

Had a lovely meal here on the 31st august with my partner!! Lovely sized portions, awesome views and staff that are very attentive, quick and polite!!! X highly recommended and bring your camera!!!

User

Convenient place to go for lunch having been on a boat trip. Friendly attentive staff, nice atmosphere. I had fish, chips and mushy peas for lunch. For my taste, the mushy peas were just a bit watery, but otherwise very good.

User

We had a family do there and I found the food edible but that was it too expensive for what you are getting. Nothing special about it at all don't think I would go again

User

Food took 45 mins to come and not great when it did finally arrive. 5.95 for a very poor kids meal! Certainly wouldn't return or recommend anyone else to.

User

Ate here last night. Food was very lovely. Member of staff who took my booking on the phone however was rude & very uninterested. Wasn’t even too sure to begin with if I’d come through to the Grosvenor as the lady who answered the phone muttered just a poor hello. However saying that, food was lovely & I’d return.

User

went for a light lunch for my husbands 50th, my daughters food arrived with a large black hair across it sent it straight back, chips were changed. my husbands arrived and the part baked baguette was raw so sent that back. Whilst my daughter was eating her pannini she found another hair so that was sent back! although we were offered alternatives we declined. wont be eating here again!!

User

We waited ages to get served even though staff were stood around chatting.

When we asked if food was still being served we were told no even though it was well before the published time?!?

Not a pleasant experience, alas we won't return

User

Had food there today and was very disappointed. My lasagne was cold and had a large piece of foil inside it. I told the waitress who didn't seem bothered just offered to get me a new one which I declined as it would probably be equally as disgusting. Also my partners burger was very greasy and tasted horrible. Won't be eating here again.
