A large hotel with a gd carpark, right in the heart of Llangollen. Dates back to 1700 and has some very interesting history. We had a huge bedroom overlooking the river and the breakfast was brill. They do have coach parties here as well as live music but take your ear plugs as it can get very loud. The beer garden outside is ideal for chilling out. Good all round hotel.
Very disappointing. Room was dated bath was dirty. Breakfast was greasy.
Working locally and stayed 2 nights. Great room, good view, decent breakfast. Would stay again without doubt.
Nice garden. Food was fine for the price. just had lunch.
There was no A.C it was very hot. The service was great. But as a hotel it just was not the best I could have been at.

Great hotel. A nice position by the River Dee and a car park and friendly staff makes this a lovely place to stay.
So much character in this place - it felt like a trip back to the 70s for hotels. Gotta love it though :)
Plenty good enough with a decent menu well cooked, friendly staff, clean rooms and they DO have wifi.
