Fantastic health spa always delighted with my treatments and service I receive. The staff are inviting and professional. Always leave feeling rejuvenated!

As a regular to this spa, and a former police office, I certainly do not agree with the negative comments left below. And to dis credit and call this very warm, home from home, professional establishment a brothel is an insult! To all the team at Health @ Serenity keep up the good work!!! From your loyal customer.

I was booked in for a back massage and a facial. The back massage was great but the facial didn't last any more than about 15 mins and 10 mins of that was a head massage, well, some hair tugging?! The building is tired and cluttered. It looked like it hadn't had a good clean in a long time. Although the actual therapy room looked freshly painted and decorated the covers and towels looked old and uninviting. When I got onto the bed and went to face down, the towel I was to put my face in was covered in makeup and clearly hadn't been changed from the last person...whenever that was?! The whole place just felt dirty. There was no consultation with the facial and I don't have a clue what she put on my face or what it was for?! Overall I have absolutely no clue why this place has anywhere near 4 stars. The girls were lovely, I just think a lot of tweaking needs to be done before it's anywhere near value for money. Not a relaxing experience which is a shame because my therapist was good at the back massage! Who ever owns this place needs to put some effort into it! Get rid of the charity shop in the corner of the relaxation room and give it a damn good hoover!

Mortified at the below review, partly my reason for wanting to leave my review. I absolutely love this Spa I regularly visit and have never had a bad experience. The staff are all incredible and extremely professional quite the contrary to a brothal! The afternoon tea is delicious and the new refurb is superb! Keep it up Health and Serenity it’s a true saying you can’t please all of the people all of the time, but you always please me :) thank you x

Have had several treatments here and all the staff have been lovely. The only thing that lets it down is the decor. Looking a little bit neglected and weary! The room where the manicures and pedicures are done has had the same piece of small wood panelling hanging off for months now .Needs repainting in places. A little bit of pampering and it could be really lovely again.

Visited here a few weeks ago with my Nan as we had vouchers to use. We both had a hot stone massage which was really good. We also had afternoon tea which was made up of one large sandwich, a scone and a chocolate éclair. Would go back for another treatment but would not have food again.

Cannot recommend the spa enough!

My mum and I wanted a day out together before I have my first baby in November, so she decided to look into some spa treatments for us. Initially we wanted somewhere half way between us (I live in the Valleys, she lives in Oxfordshire) that also had a pool, but having been messed about on the phone by poor communication from hotels and resorts when trying to answer questions like "do you have a dual treatment room?" and "can you cater for a pregnant woman?" she was about ready to give up!

Then she found this place, and one very helpful, friendly phone call confirmed everything we wanted was do-able and the treatments sounded fantastic! We were able to book the half day package, but "streamline" the treatments for my safety... They have a big range of mum-2-be treatments and were clearly confident in catering for me.

We loved our day. The rooms are all beautiful, comfortable and relaxing, and we felt very much at home. The staff were bubbly and kind, and the treatments were spot on and very reasonably priced! It was really nice to be able to have the treatments at the same time in their dual treatment room. In the workshop we were given some very down-to-earth, practical advice that suited our lifestyles, and though their products were lovely and I may well be getting some, there was no hard sell. Lunch was included and was very tasty and filling - it is advertised as light, but was a very decent portion!

We will certainly go back if the occasion arises, and i have secretly ordered a gift card for my hubs so he can go have a treatment too! Thank you, ladies, for a wonderful day!
