Nice simple modern pub food. A modern layout and tidy location.
Helpful & pleasant staff with the pub being nicely placed by the beach. Reasonable prices and a good selection of real ales. We will be returning when we next visit New Quay.
A Brains brewery owned pub that is aimed at the holiday maker looking for somewhere to eat. Nice position with view over the harbour and bay.
It gets very busy during the season especially at times when families are looking for places to eat.

A lovely pub with a sea view and warm atmosphere, the Penwig is a nice place for having a pint or a bite to eat. Alothough sometimes , seating is scarce, when not too busy the pub is nice to sit inside or out. When sitting outside and eating, I do reccomend not looking down at the floor as it can be very messy with, ciggerette buds and dirt, howwever i canot critisize the pub for this as they are always busy and myh not be able to have early morning or late staff to clean up the outside, eaither for weather of for the staffs wellbeing, inside is very clean however and I havent noticed any probolems yet.
Lovely building just up the road from the sea. We had a nice sit down meal around lunchtime. Served quickly and the food was lovely. We definitely would go again. :-)
Hotel Penwig is situated in New Quay, West Wales with wonderful views of the beach and harbour. We would highly recommend Penwig - very good variety of food and drinks which are great value for money with excellent service.
