Very limited parking, you either book parking in advance (not advertised on booking site) or walk from nearest car park (2mins). Wet walls and window sill in room. Weak and tepid shower. Towels smelt of deep fat fryer Very weak light bulbs in room. Whole place could do with rennovation.
On the plus side though excellent views of the sea and great location to Tenby town itself.
Lovely hotel. We stayed in a premier room and it was worth the extra. Staff were really nice, helpful and attentive. Parking in this town is at a premium with the nearest car park costing £8 per day. Better to leave your car just outside the centre,at the rail station perhaps and use the many taxi's. the town is very historic with the hotel built within part of the old castle walls. driving in the town is nerve and tense as the old streets are so narrow. Beaches are first class, as good as any worldwide. Would recommend this hotel / resort to anybody as there is something for anybody.
Only popped in for some pre dinner drinks but really liked the terrace overlooking the sea. Great views and the rubber tiles laid out were a great surface for our 1.5 year old to run around on. Took a star off as it seemed a tad dated in terms of decor inside. Wouldn't take much to make it a fantastic place.
The only complaint I have is that the car park was an incredibly tight fit. Other than that, the location was great, overlooking the beach and bay; the room was comfortable; the staff was pleasant and helpful. Nice place to stay.
Probably the best place to go for a drink in Tenby on a sunny day. The views of the Paragon Beach are absolutely beautiful and the balcony area is an amazing sun trap! Lovely G&T served in an amazing goblet glass and with loads of ice!
Tried to visit a craft fair being held in the hotel but never got there because of the inadequate facilities for wheel chair users. The craft fair was being held downstairs, there was a lift but only just large enough for a wheelchair not for a second person, once in the lift there was no way for the wheelchair user to operate the lift. Inside the reception area the hotel looked very tatty, we didn't get any further so can't comment on rooms etc.
Has probably one of the best views in Pembrokeshire.
