What a find! We were recommended the International Rarebit Centre by a local (David at Cluckingham Palace) and are so pleased we went there.
The prices are really reasonable for the quality of breakfast you have. I haven’t had Rarebit in years, but with chorizo and different salads, it was so tasty.
The service was outstanding - Rose and John are really personable, friendly and welcoming. They had lovely music playing, and have clearly done a great job with the decor.
Really rate this place and I hope lots of people check it out!
A wonderful light lunch with locally sourced products and wonderful bread baked on the historic premises. A real find! The delightful owner served us and it was great to hear her enthusiasm for superb local produce, right down to the locally roasted coffee.
The owner- Rose is so friendly, a great warm atmosphere in the old building, and lovely healthy food made fresh on the premises daily. A perfect light lunch in comfortable surroundings.
Popped in yesterday, had a salad and goat's cheese rarebit, absolutely delicious. A big improvement on previous ownership. Will be returning soon
Excellent sourdough and other breads, scones and croissants, baked on the premises. The Welsh Rarebit is great. They serve 6 different versions, including the fiery Spicy Mexican. The service is friendly and attentive. All in all a great place to stop off for a bite and pick up a loaf.
Great food and coffee, the bread is baked fresh in the bakery in the same building and always served with a smile.
This has now changed hands, and has become the International Welsh Rarebit Centre.
